My AC decided to go on the fritz as we were having one of our better summer days (97 degrees in the San Fernando Valley). After a night of NO sleep, I turned to Yelp to help flag down a repair man. Based on the reviews, I decided to go with Chan Ho - I couldn't have made a better decision. I called Chan Ho around 9AM; he was brief as he was on his way to another job, but told me to text him my name, number, address, and a brief description of the problem, and he would call me at a later time to setup an appointment. He replied a few hours later and told me he could be at my house by 3PM. By 345PM, the cold air was blowing (he diagnosed the problem and had everything working in under 45mins - unheard of)! He invited me on the roof to explain a little about how my unit worked, and what the problems were. Chan Ho also recommended what I should plan for long-term, and quoted me a very reasonable/realistic quote. I can honestly say it was a pleasure meeting Chan Ho, and for the first time (in a long time) I'm looking forward to giving him all future business when it comes to HVAC and plumbing.

We recently had our 5 Ton roof top package unit replaced with a new unit by Chan Ho Heating and Air Contioning and Chan Ho did a remarkable job. We were given very competetive pricing even though some extra work was required to fit the new unit. We found his workers to be very knowledgeable, hard working and with a good attitude. They did a thorough job working through the peak hours of heat and left the premises clean on completion of work.
Chan Ho made sure that the job was done right and the final inspection was done to our satisfaction.
We would highly recommend Chan Ho Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone who needs to repair or install a new air conditioning unit. Chan Ho is very prompt and courteous, and he makes sure that his customers are satisfied.

I love this guy! I haven't been on Yelp for about 5 year and I'll be honest I only come on yelp to destroy people or give them big ups! He climbed my roof diagnosed my AC and replaced the capacitors all with in a hour. honest trustworthy guy... AC fix on the cheap! kapow!

This review has been a long time coming. My husband and I have been using Chan Ho since we bought our house almost two years ago. Since neither my husband or myself know the first thing about home repairs, Chan Ho has been a semi-regular guest at our house. He's snaked our drains, replaced two toilets, cleared our garbage disposal, fixed a broken sprinkler head and about a month ago, did the biggest job of all - replaced our 15 year old HVAC system. Let me say this, not only did he replace the HVAC system, he did it within 2 days of me calling him AND in the middle of one of the Valley's gnarly heat waves! It was a huge job and he and his crew did a fantastic job.

In the two years Chan has been doing work for us, he's always been courteous, quick and honest. His crew is the same way, also. I definitely recommend Chan ho!

My ac stopped working the day before I was throwing a 4th of July BBQ party. I turned to yelp and called the top 10 reviewed ac repair places in the valley. Only 4 had time given the holiday. 3 quotes over the phone ranged from 5k to 10k and a few wanted to charge me 70$ just to come and spend 30 minutes diagnosing the issue. (These are top rated yelp places I was talking to.). Chan Ho told me 1800 and agreed to order the compressor and install it. He was fast, professional and above all honest. The cost was what he said it would be and he did not up sell me on replacing the entire system. He also returned calls, texted me to confirm, and showed up early. I can't recommend him enough!!!

I paid a little more than I wanted for them to go under the house to secure the pipes, BUT, he snaked the hall sink for free AND he confirmed that we didn't have mold under the house where the kitchen sink is. A contractor came out last week and told us that we had mold. I should have known he was a liar since our AAA insurance sent him out to do the inspection.

Overall, I recommend Chan.

I also recommend that you make sure you ask questions and also make sure that all issues are taken care of before he leaves. He said that my bathroom sink was OK but I asked him to double check and once I did, he paid special attention to it and snaked the drain.
This wasn't part of my original request to come out to our house, so in all fairness, he didn't think that anything needed to be done.

He's an honest man and will get the job done on time and at a reasonable rate. I'll definitely call him the next time I need my pipes cleaned. Wait! That didn't sound right. Well...you get the idea.

Chan Ho gave me an estimate to repair a broken section of drain under my kitchen slab floor that was much lower than 3 other 4 & 5 star reviewed plumbers and the only one who promised to do it the right way. Chan Ho, supervisor Salo and crew arrived on time and worked extremely hard cutting the floor, replacing the 56 year old section of pipe and repairing the concrete in under 8 hours. Very professional, as plumbers go it doesn't get any better

Chan was really nice, polite, reliable and professional. He let me know when to expect him. The only thing was, I would have appreciated an estimate before he started the work, but he explained to me what the issues were, which I appreciated. Found him to be fair and came by when he said he would.

Would recommend him to friends and family, and will call him for all my AC/heating needs!

Had major issues with my toilets and severely clogged sewer system. Found Chan Ho on yelp and saw his outstanding reviews so I phoned him and within an hr he was at my residence ready to work with his assistant. The 5-star rating is as advertised!!! Mr. Ho was prompt, respectful and honest. He isn't your avg untrustworthy plumber that will try to get as much money from you as they can. Mr. Ho was up front with everything and handled my situation as efficient and cost friendly as possible. He tried the cheapest ways to resolve the problem first and only then did he suggest taking other more expensive routes if that didn't work. He won't just start doing things just because it'll make him a bigger profit.... Will definitely be a repeat costumer!

a complete waist of time, i called them based on the reviews here, the guy mr ho shows and says. its hard to find the problem, u find it and then we come and fix it for you. wasted my whole day.
