I'm not going to give too many identifying facts about my experience with Champion because it was just that shady. We found the business on Yelp, but I'm really not sure of the validity of the reviews because our experience was so terrible. I deal with professional vendors all day at work and was immediately wary of Champion's professionalism when, after taking off work early to meet the tech, he told me right before he was supposed to be at my home that he would be an hour late. Ok...but then I heard nothing from him for over two hours after THAT, making him a total of 3 hours late once he finally arrived.

The end result of that evening was that I had to wait until 9:45PM to find out that the job could not be completed and that the efforts my boyfriend and I had made to separately coordinate the moving parts of our water heater repair were all for nothing. There were promises of coming back the next day to complete the job, but the next day went much the same as the first, and I had to make the executive decision to cut our losses and start over with a new company. The following day (with the new company) I had a new water heater installed in two hours and was left with nothing but a bad memory of Champion Plumbing.

I will never be using them again and would not recommend to anyone who values their time or sanity.

Not sure other 5 stars reviews are from genuine customers or something else.

I am not happy with service from this Company. I called them to fix the bathroom faucet that was very tight to operate. I suspected that it could be due to faulty ""cartridge' so I mentioned over the phone (at the time of making appointment.) to service appointment lady that I do have new ""cartridge' .

Guy (I think Daniel, He did not introduce himself) arrived and parked his service vechile in my driveway. I requested to clear my driveway as my wife has to drive out from Garage. He gave weird gesture like I have requeted something unreasonable.

Guy replaced the cartiridge in 10 minutes and about to leave. I tested the faucet and still it was tight. He was asking me for 1 hour labor without fixing my original issue of
""tight faucet"". He has no professional attitude of fixing up my problem irrespective of root cause.

I am feeling like I have been robbed in day time by licensed professional.

Dear fellow customer do not trust ***** 5 star Yelp reviews.

We had an issue at our rental property with the prior tenants flushing paper towels down the toilet, which then caused a clog and a back up into the shower. My husband snaked the line himself but we were still worried that there might be clogs farther down the line, and decided we would have the main line snaked just to be careful. I called Champion Plumbing and Daniel Chapple showed up -- perfectly on time and just as nice as could be. I explained to him the situation we had, he had me turn on the water in the house, and got down on his hands and knees out front to listen to the main line. He said that it sounded perfectly fine, no clogs, and that he did not feel we needed to snake the line. An honest plumber -- who knew?? Then, when I asked him how much I owed for the service call at least, he said that since he didn't do any work, he wasn't going to charge me anything??!!! To say I was amazed would be an understatement. (This contact with Daniel was following a prior terrible experience with a different plumbing company who I will be Yelp'ing next with a 1 star review). I did call Champion Plumbing and asked to speak with a supervisor as I wanted them to be aware of how impressed I was with Daniel, but unfortunately I didn't get a call back. Hopefully, their management will see this review instead.

Had a water heater go out. Contacted several plumbers. Two were too busy to take the work, and both recommended Champion. They fixed the water heater the same day for a reasonable price. They also found and fixed several items that were installed incorrectly. Great plumber. Will definitely use them again.

My first encounter was expensive, charged me $130 for 20 min simple job. I didn't mind and call them a month later for second semi-emergency job on Saturday. I was offered 5-7PM appointment which I accepted. I called them at 6PM to follow up and I was told he will be here before 7PM. No one showed up! no one called! I ended up calling another company and pay double (over-time on Sunday), all because of these folks. I'd say stay away.

Clogged egress pipe at 8:15p. Calle Champion at 8:20p. Awesome plumber Daniel arrives at 8:45p Snakes and is done unclogging at 9:00p. Done and done. Fair pricing and knowledgeable dude!

I originally contacted them to do the plumbing for our master bath remodel but they were too busy and referred me to Herbner construction. This was a blessing in disguise as Jim Herbner ended up managing the rest of the remodel for me! Champion ultimately ended up doing most if not all the plumbing for the remodel, as well as replacing some other plumbing in the house. Their prices was fair and they got the work done as promised. There were a couple little things they had to come back and fix but considering the amount of work they did, this is no surprise. I'd previously had three different plumbing companies in trying to fix an issue with the clothes washer drain and Champion got it taken care of for me for less than the other quotes I received, plus did a more thorough job than the others proposed.

This is the second time I have used Champion Plumbing on Camden, and I am satisfied with the job they did both times.
First time I had a leak in my shower from a remodel I had done years prior. It was fixed quickly and the price was fair.
This time, I called them for a re-pipe, I had galvanized pipes, again, the job was done well and the price again was fair.
The men were on time, mindful, neat and nice.
The plumbing, price and time they took was fine, I did not like the caulking job they did for the pipes entering the house though.
Otherwise, I would recommend them to my family and friends and would certainly use them again.

Semi-emergency situation at our property in Milpitas on a Friday night. Consulting Yelp, I called two plumbers in Milpitas (not Champion because they're listed in San Jose). I suspected I wouldn't get a call back on a Friday night and I was right. However, early Saturday I got a call from one of the guys I'd left a message for who was nice enough to tell me he wasn't available (out of town) but recommended Champion Plumbing because they have a guy in Milpitas.

I called the office number for Champion Plumbing at 7:30AM and a woman answered the phone. Short story: she contacted their guy in Milpitas (Daniel) and called me back to tell me that Daniel could be at the property within an hour. He was there in less than 30 minutes, quickly snaked the sewer line and cleared the roots that were causing the problem. Although the rate she quoted was slightly different from what Daniel charged, it was still reasonable and we were pleased with Daniel's work.

Had a clogged toilet for a week. Sister rexcommended champion and the plumber that came to help us this morning was Daniel. Lemme say first off super professional ppl working at this establishment.if you want stellar work and professionals, this company is who u need! I let Daniel know that I was big germiphobe and he was very accommodating! He left no mess in the bathroom. I reAlly appreciate it given the current situation! Daniel thanks so much for everything! If you need help with plumbing ask for Daniel and u won't be sorry!
