Last night our AC just stopped working. Obviously a problem. I called Champion Comfort Experts who I trust with most of my home system repairs. The operator took my info and promised to have a technician out to me today. Cameron Clark texted and called ahead of his mid-morning arrival. He quickly evaluated the issue by the sound of the heat pump. He made the repair quickly and proficiently. He was prompt, neat, and very professional.

champion installed a mini split unit in my home. Nunu and Wahyu installed and did a wonderful job explaining everything. I called tuesday and by Friday at noon it was running. The best experience I've had with work at my house ever. Thanks I would surely recomend them.

Last October I had Champion install a Daiken mini-split in my finished basement. The installers arrived, but the electrician couldn't come until the following day. After the electrician hooked up the power, I asked how to operate it. He handed me the owners' manual. After a week of trying, I couldn't get the unit to blow heat or cold. Turns out the unit was defective. It took another 4 weeks to get it replaced.

Fast forward to this May, I called to have them service my upstairs unit. The condensation drain had come disconnected and was leaking into my foundation. It took 6 weeks and 3 calls to finally get it fixed. I have tried 3 times to contact the owner (phone, website, and letter), but a month later I've not been contacted. Beware!

Showed up as promised and were respectful of Covid guidelines. Nice guy. Those are the only good things. Charged me $89 plus tax to inspect my system, no service done at all. Not so much as a filter change. Offered to clean certain parts for extra fee. I kept the letter that said cleaning would improve my HVAC function and reduce bills by more than the cost of routine maintenance call -- which seemed plausible. No maintenance was done. They charged me for an opportunity to up sell. I will dispute the charge.

Champion lied to me from day one, I paid over ten thousand dollars for a trane unit they told me less than a year in it was not under warranty, I had to call trane to get them to fix it. After ten years now I have to replace the whole unit after there salesman told me it was good for 20 years. Do not use these crooks they will rip you off the whole time, even on there service work, I am filed a report with BBB

Updating to say that they are waiving the visit charge and explained their technician was newer (he was) and misquoted us, it should have been low $200's and offered to come back today. I declined them returning because the other company was on their way.

While our technician was kind, they do not share their pricing up front no matter how you ask, and it came out to be $--- AFTER waiving the $89 visit charge from a mailer. This was for snaking a simple drain! It had been snaked previously by a company they bought many years ago for around $120. We called another company and their flat, hourly rate was $---, which I'll happily pay on top of Champion's $73 visit charge (somehow it dropped during our conversation about not using them and why).

7/22/19 update:

I had my two rental properties get a check up from champion today. The appointment was at 8:00 AM, and they were there at 8:00 AM. This used to shock me, but not anymore, because 4 out of 4 times, they've been exactly on time.
I had the pleasure of meeting Cameron and Dawn today. Both were very professional and didn't try to upsell me on anything.
Dawn was very personable and professional, which is hard to find that combination in businesses these days.
Cameron is an impressive young man who was professional as well. He was training Dawn, so, I didn't have as much interaction with him. But the interaction I had was great.
What I like about this company is they'll text you when they're showing up with a picture of the poison who is coming out. That's a great safety feature.
I'm happy to do business with them, and I look forward to doing business again with them in the future. You guys are awesome!!!!!

I originally posted a very positive review when Champion first came out to service my HVAC. To my disappointment, Champion dropped the ball in a big way. First, they were very arrogant when I explained I had a home warranty to cover the cost of the repair. They did not not to help at all when it came to itemizing the cost of the job which seemed very shady to me. I had to call literally 5 or 6 times just to get basic information about the repair. Passed off between 4 different people at the office and still couldn't get a straight answer. Then Ron something called with anger in his voice telling me that I owed over $400 for 1 pound of refrigerant. I live with elderly parents that were put in jeopardy due to their arrogance and insensitivity to the potential health hazard since the weather has been in the 90's.
I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB as well as posting my experience on every possible website to help others be aware of unethical trade practices this company employs. Buyer beware!!!!!
I'm sure there are plenty of companies that would have had the decency to explain how they arrived at the price charged. It's basic good faith business practices to be transparent as far as what things cost. If i could have given 0 stars, I promise I would have.

Not Dependable. I've had a contract with them and I'm cancelling it. They canceled the last maintenance visit due to a personal reason for the technician. OK, I understand but then the next available appointment was a month later!!! They promised me the first appointment that day at 8 a.m. At 9:22 they texted that the technician was on his way. He arrived over 3 HOURS LATER at 12:30. The person at the office claimed the technician went to the wrong job. This is not acceptable especially at the high price of the maintenance contract.
