I've known Kevin Chambliss since he started... out of his garage right down the street from my family's house at the time... literally, a few houses down the street. While he was working out of his garage, just him and his single van, he replaced a water heater for us. His work, and his work ethic, was superb. My family has used his company for all our plumbing needs since he started. Now that he's grown the company into a company with many employees and vehicles, the work ethic and philosophy has remained the same throughout the past 30 years. I know this reads like it's an ad, or a PR write-up for the company, but in all honesty... every review of a company is exactly that. It's either good PR, or bad PR... but PR all the same. Chambliss Plumbing isn't a good plumbing company... it's simply the best plumbing company in San Antonio. They charge a little more than the average plumbers in San Antonio, but you get what you pay for... and for the quality of the work, they charge a fair price. I recently, thought I'd try a different company for a small plumbing job that I thought was beneath Chambliss, I won't say which one, because this isn't an ad for their pink vans/trucks *wink wink*... but nevertheless, they didn't show up at the scheduled time... and when I called them, they had failed to put my appointment on their schedule. I KNEW I should have just called Chambliss, which I did today, and have them scheduled for tomorrow. I don't even question that they will be here on time, if not early, and finish the job like the experts they are.

Needed our water filtration system, water heater, and bathroom faucets checked out the water was not as hot as we liked it. Small repair on the water filtration system along with an explanation of how to maintain it along with maintenance on the hot water heater including turning up the temperature. Tested bathroom faucets for good water flow. Overall, very pleased with the service. Timely, professional and good value. Will call them again for any plumbing needs.

Chambliss was recommended by multiple family members in San Antonio. We hired them to install a new PRV due to a humming sound in our wall.

I really like to understand what's going on when I hire somebody to do service work. They let me watch and ask questions throughout the whole job. I learned a lot, and the new PRV solved our issue.

They did great work and they really know their stuff. We'll be using them for our plumbing needs in the future!

Arrived same-day to fix water break from city supply to house and replace broken garbage disposal. Did all that in less than 2 hours. Service fee was reasonable. Technicians were respectful and left kitchen spotless. Highly recommend.

Chambliss plumbing has installed a tankless gas water heater for us and added shower heads in our master bath. Very reasonably priced and knowledgeable/thorough staff. Like anyone else, I don't typically like spending money on grown up things like car and house maintenance but really appreciate the fair, honest and professional service we got from Chambliss.

Ugh, Water heater giving us issues. Momma likes her hot water bath so what Momma wants Momma gets. The wife had been complaining for a month or more about our hot water. There wasn't enough for both of us in the morning and it was taking a very long time to reheat. I assumed one of the elements had gone out. I called Chambliss and they got me on their schedule. Joe and Jesse arrived as planned and got right to work. Joe was excellent in explaining things. They were prepared for any situation that might arise, i.e. not meeting code and the upgrades that may be required. Since it was an older water heater I decided the best route was jsut to replace the water heater instead of the element. They got it all done in record time and now Momma is a happy bather with her hot water. Thanks Chambliss, Joe and Jesse.

I tried Chambliss after seeing a number of neighbors recommend them online. We had four bathroom sinks serviced. New P-Traps, new push pop-up drains, supply lines serviced, and tub drain serviced.

The initial call to the office was efficient, as was communication via email. The two-man crew showed up on the early end of the two-hour window, which was great. They were polite, professional, and the workmanship was impeccable.
