Called Chalmers plumbing for our backed-up downstairs toilet and sink. Chalmer's Plumbing came out promptly the next day. The plumber rodded out the main pipe in our basement and stated that he couldn't get through to our septic tank; We paid for the rodding. Chalmer's plumber stated that the problem was with the sewer pipe between the house and the septic tank, and quoted us $2,200 to dig up and replace the pipe; I felt a bit off about how the plumber was a acting towards us, and instead we got a second opinion, as well as a video inspection from a reputable septic service company. Turns out we just needed one vent pipe replaced and a system blow-out, which including the video inspection cost us a total of $1,700. I got the sense that Chalmer's Plumbing was taking us for a ride. I will not be calling Chalmer's Plumbing ever again.

We had a plumbing emergency. The initial plumber said to fix everything it would cost almost 9000. In desperation I messaged other plumber on yelp. David said it sounded like way too high a price and agreed to come out for a free estimate. He knocked it down to 4800. David did a terrific job, not just with the plumbing but getting the permit and everything squared away and getting the job done professionally. He was also very kind and patient. I recommend Chalmers Plumbing to anyone.

The water service line to our was broken outside the foundation and leaking in to the basement. Chalmers reacted quickly and under terrible weather conditions excavated 6' below grade to find and repair leak. It was reassuring that they understood my concern and treated the repair as an emergency.
I would highly recommend Chalmers for all your plumbing requirements. Don't waste your time calling everyone you find in your google search. Just call Chalmers and just watch them make it happen.

This guy gave me the best prices quote for my washer box replacement and valve replacement. Easy communication! We've had a lot of contractors here after purchasing a new home. He was the first to clean up after himself. I was impressed. I followed him out to close the garage door. It's been having issues refusing to close. He jumped out of his truck and gave me a hand, just to be a nice guy. To be clear this was an existing problem not the result of him being here. I probably would have paid someone $150 to come out and fix, but he just went the extra mile. I'm just tickled we found Chalmers!
