I called because we have a slow main sewer line. I told the person when I called that we don't have an outside cleanout and that we would need to pull the toilet to run the snake. She said no problem and quoted $85-135. When the technician arrived he said he couldn't pull the toilet because it might crack and he didn't want to be responsible. He said we needed to install a cleanout before he could work on it. He quoted $1650.

I know I should have a cleanout installed (a previous contractor failed to install one when he replaced the sewer line).but I felt that he was trying to take advantage of the situation. He should have offered to pull the toilet and cleanout the line when I declined to have he cleanout installed today. I told him that it was a relatively new sewer line (4 years and we successfully had it cleaned from the toilet access. Very disappointing.

Challenge Plumbing Staff is great!

Really honest, efficient, knowledgeable, personable and also they clean up after they do a job! I swear it is like I didn't even notice someone did a repipe.

The front desk is super friendly and are always trying to get your job done as soon as possible. They understand when a plumbing problem happens in your home or office building that it is stressful and they want to help make the repair process smoother.

Their on call 24/7 emergency service is so helpful and I don't know too many other companies that have this type of service. There is always a plumber on call no matter what day of the year it is.

The owner of challenge plumbing is also someone who I have spoken to on the phone and he made sure that if there was ever something I had a question about or issue with that he was always open to being contacted. He is very experienced, their business has been on that same pico blvd location for more than 50 years! It has stayed owned within thew family and his kids even help out around the office.

I have used cCHALLENGE PLUMBING many times over the years and have always been happy with their service. They arrive at or very close to the appointment time and take care of my problem/s expediently. Their charges are fair. I have no reason not to continue to use them as any new plumbing problems arise

For more than 30 years, I had no major problems with my plumbing, except a very occasional clogged sink or toilet. Suddenly a tenant complained she has no hot water. My maintenance man told me that one of the horizontal pipes, although not leaking has lots of rust. One neighboor suggested that I should call Challenge. Unfortunately, I didn't read any reviews and called them. The owner, Jeffrey called me numerous time until I said ""O.k.. Go ahead,.Start the job."" As of that moment Jeffrey completely disappeared from the picture. One day after they finnished the job, two tenants didn't have hot water and two didn't have cold water. By now, the Challenge people seemed bothered by my calls and all they had to say is that I got a very good price from them. One plumber came to see what's wrong .He diagnosed my plumbing problems while still on the driveway and suggested a new nipple /199 dollars more. The office manager was also diagnosing my plumbing from inside her office and after 3 days, they were not answering my phone calls and Jeffrey was nowhere to be found.. I understood then that their work has no waranty and called another plumber.
Do not make my mistake and read all reviews before starting a job and don't pay all the money at the end of the job. Leave yourself some timr to see that everything works well.
