It's never fun to realize in the middle of July that you need a new HVAC unit. But as uncomfortable as that may be, we were determined to take the time to do our due diligence and pick the best product for the long haul. We soon discovered that picking the best HVAC company to install it was just as important! We received estimates from 4 different companies, and Chaffee Air quickly emerged as our top choice. Not only was their quote fair and competitive, they have a great relationship with Trane (the HVAC brand we settled on). So when our chosen 2-stage package unit ended up on backorder, Chaffee was able to get with Trane and procure it for us within 2 weeks. In the meantime, they loaned us portable AC units, to help out while we waited. Everyone we dealt with at Chaffee - from Renee who answered the phone to the sales manager Michael to Tyler's install crew - acted professionally and instilled a great deal of confidence. They were always on time and always delivered what was promised. And they took care of us every step of the way, going above and beyond the expected. We highly recommend this company, particularly if you're in the market for a new Trane unit.

Incredible Customer Service!! Chaffee installed a new Mitsubishi heat pump for us last month on our newly constructed garage and did a tremendous job. Last Friday, had an ASAP notification/call from our contractor with a short notice heads-up that the stone masons were coming in the afternoon to begin applying stonework to the exterior garage and that the heat pump cables needed to be loosened from their attachments to the wall in order for the masons to apply stone behind their cable lines and the cabling protective cover. I called Rene and contacted Mark in a panic. Even though Chaffee was booked solid 10 days out, Mark sent Rick over within the hour to have the cables detached from the wall. I've said it once before and need to say it again--the Chaffee folks are truly Customer Focused and stand behind their care of their Customers. They have high quality products, top-notice Customer Service, and go above-and-beyond to help their customers. A++ Service. Thank you!!

terrible exp. there over priced , dis respectful towards his customers , we had a problem on a repair on 5 18 2020 , leaking freon , nobody contacted me tuesday , wednesday or thursday or friday , tried for 4 days to call office to find out when they were gonna come and finish the job since tech didn't on monday ! i would get 2 rings and a busy signal all 4 days , so i went over to office to find out whats up and me and his gatekeeper ' secretary had a little shouting match , we cursed each other and i left. 1 hour later the owner rex chaffee shows up in front of my house making all kinds of threats , wanting me to come out to street and fight him over words with secretary prior , cussed me for 5 minutes called me a loser , fat ass , saying i live off my dad , not true . told him it wasnt too smart for 2 middle 50's guys to settle dispute like that and would not solve this issue . i mean he wanted me to come out in street to fight?? c'mon thats a real professional ! stay clear of chaffee heating and air !

Great experience with Chaffee Air! A/C went out on a Friday night, called Chaffee around 8 PM and left message with service. Rick called us bight and early on Saturday morning and Rick himself came out to do service on the unit and had us up and running by 12:30 on Saturday afternoon. Rick told us that he would need to check on parts and follow up with us to set up repair date! Great service and would highly recommend!

I bought a heating and air unit from Chaffee Air two years ago. It has been constant trouble. I have had to replace switches, the entire thermostat and now the drain pipe is backed up and there is water everywhere. This unit has stopped working so many times. When I call them, they act like l'm just a complaining customer. I just want what I paid for, a working unit. I would never recommend them. I wish I had done more research before I used them.

I have been using Chaffee HVAC service & maintenance since 2008 and I really appreciate the service to my (6) HVAC systems in Knoxville TN.

They do a thorough review every spring, check the systems health - any gas leaks, filter, ducts, temperature variation, condenser cleaning and electrical checkout. They instructor the renters of there responsibility to change the $5 filter to keep the system working properly.

I have been dealing with HVAC companies in various states - CA, TN, WA due to my rental properties. The HVAC system is a critical issue with rental properties in most places and a good company with good people is essential to keeping the system working properly.

I have had a very good experience from Chaffee in Knoxville Tennesse.

I want to thank Rex Chaffee for his services of my systems over the last 8 years.
