4 years ago, the pipe was replaced due to a root growing inside, and today the same issue occurred because the pipe was not sealed properly.

CGS was great. Had another Plumber come out and gave me an extremely high price for the repair I needed. Called Chris from CGS to get a second opinion, and so glad I did!! Came out and got me up and going for a fraction of the price the other company quoted. Would def recommend!!!!

Chris and team are great! I'd recommend them to anyone. I needed our water heater moved from the laundry room into our garage. He did it within one day and was a great price. He even recommended a great dry wall guy who patched the holes. 5 stars! Since then we've used CGS for all our plumbing needs.

Chris Smith is a fast talking crook. He plumbed a small bathroom for us and charged over $1,500 for 4 hours worth of work, he took a 1 hour lunch break, and used less than $100 in materials. He ended up cutting holes in the ceiling without consulting us first, and then expected us to pay for the drywall and texture repairs.

No Workers Comp insurance, so hopefully none of his guys get hurt on your property!

He also drives like a clown, speeding at over 40 MPH and not using turn signals in our quiet residential neighborhood.

Absolutely feel ripped off; do yourself a favor and avoid this company.
Chris came over to clear my tub drain and spent about 5 minutes trying to run a snake past the trap. He was unsuccessful but said it was fine and charged me $145. After 3 showers the drain is back to how it was. I texted Chris and he responded back immediately.... until he realized who it was. Then his whole tone changed; he said that the trap was corroded and it would never clear unless replaced (which is a huge job). He should have determined it was impossible to ""clear"" it before charging for doing nothing. After a few texts back and forth he told me to call another plumber.

Chris responded immediately to my text and came over the next morning.
He immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem.
Chris is pleasant, respectful, and knowledgeable.
I would contact Chris again for future plumbing needs.

NEVER AGAIN will I use or refer CGS Plumbing. I had them (Chris) over to fix an issue with not getting hot water with my tankless heater and he charged $390 to do nothing.

- He lied about changing a part.
- He claimed to have fixed the issue when that was not the case at all.
- I got a racist vibe from him as he kept asking about what my diversity is.
- Upon failing to get an answer from them after a few follow-ups and writing to them for the lack of response, I get a call from them saying ""You know we are not just sitting around the corner here"".
- He was condescending and arrogant when I complained about the issue not being resolved and made comments like ""Its your house and its your problem"", ""You don't have home warranty, so you are on your own"".
- He was supposed to get back to me with next steps in a ""couple"" days and it has been 2 weeks of silence..
- I had HSQ Plumbing come over who had the right talent and successfully resolved the issue with less $$ and no nonsense.

Our family has used Chris for his plumbing services for years and is always very happy with his service. We're first time homeowners and had a leak in our floors; so they told us to call Chris at CGS. Thought it was a slab leak for sure but Chris and his assistant Zach came over same day, did a bunch of checks, and determined it was actually a pipe in our wall. They were fast, efficient, kind, fair, and neat & clean. They replaced the pipe same day as well! I'm so happy we have our go-to plumber now. Thank you guys!!!

Chris is a RockStar!
After not having hot water for several days from the water heater on the Fritz......
Someone else was suggesting replacing for $2k
And parts would be 2 weeks on top of the time already going without!

Chris was able in 20m to replace a part and hot water water on the way!
