We moved from NYC and bought a house in San Elijo Hills in Sept 2018. The previous owner had the house completely remodeled, but only 1 out of the 4 bathrooms had been remodeled. As soon as we moved in we had our pool built, so we were going to get the 3 bathrooms updated in the following 2 yrs and then Covid hit. I have been researching all bathroom fixture options for 3 yrs now, speaking with manufactures and working with Fergusons.
The previous owner left us a binder with all the work receipts for the remodel she had done and that is how I decided to contact CF Plumbing. Right off the bat Rachelle was not very customer service oriented. Her approached was making the customer feel as if the ""plumbing"" world is complicated and customers do not fully understand the scope of work and cost. She said "" I can spend the time giving you a quote, but we deal with high end houses, I do not think you understand how much this is going to cost you"". So I asked how much a removal and install of a toilet would be, knowing that I had CF receipts from prior toilet removal and install they had done and ***recent quotes**** from other ""non - high end"" plumbers and it way more than double!!!

We got a whole house filtration & conditioning system plus a reverse osmosis under the counter system. They were extremely helpful with the kitchen faucet which had some issues. I would highly recommend them!
They are on time and great plumbers with fair prices!

My elderly parents live in Solana Beach and I am up in San Luis Obispo, always concerned that they can easily be overcharged, as they are easy prey in their 90s. They needed a plumber and I asked a friend in the area for a recommendation and they said without question, CF Plumbing will help them out.

And they really did. I set them up to visit my parents and they were so nice to them. And they also kept me in the loop as to what was going on during both their visits. I know that the trades are extremely busy these days and they didn't need to do this. I so much appreciate it.

If you need a plumber, you really can't do better. I've used CF Plumbing for several years and every time I'm so impressed by how quickly they respond, how professional and capable they are. Chris Fomon, the owner, is wonderful and today JP came and did a fantastic job. He was able to fix two different and tricky plumbing issues.

The mark of a good company is not the number of glowing yelp reviews they can get customers to agree to post. No, the mark of a good company is seen in what the company does when things don't go as they should, when the product doesn't perform as they have claimed it would, or the installation isn't done correctly. Do they stand behind their work? Are they responsive to your calls for correcting the problems they created? I had been a customer of Chris Fomon's for quite a few years, small plumbing jobs that I was happy with. So, when I had a larger ticket job that needed to be done, I felt comfortable going with his company yet again. BIG mistake. I had a tankless hot water heater installed that didn't perform as promised from day one. Chris himself came out immediately after the install to correct what he said were mistakes with it. This was August/September 2016. I spent over 2 years voicing the same problems and requests for solutions/service to correct 3 major problems that didn't exist before the install. Chris and Rachelle Fomon gave me the run around for over 2.5 years, with no resolution, until I was forced to hire another company to install a completely new system, and they documented EVERYTHING that was done incorrectly with video. Rachelle Fomon has lied, denied, and reframed everything as my problem. I am now in the position of having to pursue legal action in small claims court, something I have never done, to achieve some resolution of the money I spent. Do yourself a big favor and go with another company that stands behind its work and will be responsive to you, should problems arise. This is not that company.

Trouble-shot and expertly repaired a worn gas valve which operates our fireplace. Special recognition to JP and Mikey for taking the time to re-pipe to the exterior and making it very clean in appearance. Also, thanks to Kat in the front office for upfront information and scheduling accommodation. Qualities representative of Midwest trade values--pride in workmanship and do it right the first time.
