The first time Chad came over, it was on a Sunday night at 8. He went to Home Depot to get the parts, had me send him a picture of the refrigerator set-up, then came and got our new refrigerator installed in about 15 minutes. And it was so cheap...such great service and he didn't gouge me!

Tonight's issue was the garbage disposal...it needed replacing. Chad called me from Home Depot to go over the options before he came by after 7pm. While he was here, he fixed a few other things in the kitchen sink area, without me even asking him to (or realizing that there was anything wrong with them!). He gave me useful information about using the disposal correctly, and was super friendly and chatty while he was here, just like last time. He even took a look at my water heater and let me know that I probably don't need to replace it for several years - how's that for honesty? He is going to be getting a lot of business from me!

Chad is our home's ""plumbing angel"". After a devastating main line backup that flooded our home, we spent hours on the phone trying to find a plumber willing to help. Everyone was either ""too busy"" or wanted a ridiculous amount of money to ""try"" to clear the line. Chad answered his phone at 8pm and was at our house working into the night to clear our main line. He listened, explained everything that was going on with our plumbing, and ultimately got the line cleared- and rather than gouging us with a ridiculous price as we stood in an inch of poo water and completely overwhelmed by the state of our home- he charged us a totally fair price.
Later, he scoped our line with a camera, and provided documentation of his findings for our HOA, helping us understand how to prevent a similar flood in the future. Once our home was put back together after extensive renovations, he came back and found a number of short cut plumbing problems left by our contractor, and methodically fixed each one, checking all our faucets and kitchen plumbing to make sure we wouldn't have any more problems.
In total, from flood to final cleanup, Chad spent about 14 hrs working in our home over several weeks. He was always patient with us, answered all our questions, and paid attention to detail. He's a busy guy, so his timeline for arrival was sometimes off, but it was worth it to us to have the peace of mind that the job was being done right and we weren't being taken advantage of on price. I accidentally dropped a bracelet down the bathroom sink. Other plumbers wanted to charge quite a bit to come and remove it for me. Chad was nice enough to spend time with me on the phone and talk me through the simple fix myself. I sent him a picture and he navigated me and told me how to get it out. How great is that? I appreciate his honesty and for helping me out like that.

I sprung a small leak in my main pipe that came from the city into my house. The pipe went under my garage slab then into my house. I knew what around the fix would cost (if I were to do it), after a few plumbers came by and gave me some astronomical quotes. (I am assuming they thought I had endless amounts of money since I lived in Point Loma). Anyway Chad came by gave me a solid quote which was 3.5 times less than anyone else and he did a great job. I highly recommend CET plumbing.

Chad's sump pump fix worked fine during recent rains but the underground outflow was just too small and couldn't keep up. It was under brickwork and would cost a great deal to dig up. Chad figured out a much less costly solution that can drain the flooded area in under a minute. Even painted it to blend in . Couldn't be happier

My uncle was a master plumber, so I could tell Chad knew what he was doing, from choosing best solutions/parts and the quality of his work. I have seen some incredibly ""creative"" inexperienced plumbers in my day, so it's a relief that I finally have someone I can call on again. I highly recommend him. I called CET to fix a series of leaks in my kitchen water lines caused by another plumber who offered super low prices, but clearly lacked the experience to do the job right. I am still kicking myself for trying to save a few bucks because it ended up costing me much more. I wish I had known about Chad beforehand and used him from the start. He will be my go-to guy going forward and I am adding him to our HOA's list of recommended vendors. I am very happy with the install and repair work. A+

Professionalism: All about the work. Clearly well-trained and experienced. He explained what he was doing to keep me informed. He's not so much into the marketing and I was surprised he didn't ask me to post something--I have a feeling he would have many more reviews like mine if he asked.
Work done: kitchen faucet replace and install, water filter tap replace and install, replace hot and cold valves in kitchen, leaking water line resolved.

Reference: I was not referred by anyone. Heard about CET through Thumbtack and liked that his Yelp reviews did not look inflated, so gave him a try. Chad responded to my quote request right away.
