G S.Running water stopped draining out of the house - our main pipe had started kicking it back and flooding the basement. Our Plumber identified it as a cesspool problem so we called Cesspool Pros. Tom came right and fixed the entire issue within the next 24 hours. It was a big job as the cesspool had no access. They dug it out. Created a cover nad drained it. Water runs now with no issue. The team was great and what could have been a disaster was easily fixed. Great job!
Kiki L.I'm so regret that I didn't listen to those 1 star review now! You have to read this!
1. They first came and said they have to locate my cesspool first. It's $275 for locating but if we hire them to do the service, its $1500 including locating, raise up, cleaning and everything needed for 1 pool and $2500 for 2 pools. Of course the $275 will be credited as deposit as he promised. The guy then started to locate my cesspool and said the 1st pool is half under my driveway and half under the grass so he needed a machine to dig a hole and raise it up so he would need to come another day.
2. That guy said the soonest he can come was Monday but on Sunday I called them and they said the soonest they can come is Wednesday but they will try for Tuesday. I can't wait that long because the cesspool is completely full and I can't use any water in my house. So I called the other company who quoted me $1400 and $2200 who can come on Tuesday. Then on Tuesday morning, CesspoolPro called me and said they are most likely able to come today. I rejected her at the beginning since I already scheduled with another company. But then I feel sorry for them so at the end I called back and asked them to come and cancelled the other appointment. I also asked her if she can match $1400/$2200 for EVERYTHING and she said yes.
3. When the owner came, he started to dig a hole where the guy thought the cesspool was. But later on the owner found that the cesspool was actually NOT there! Wherever he dig the hole, there was only pipes and he actually broke the pipes. But he promised he would fix it which I had no problem with. It turned out that the cesspool was actually under the grass only.
4. When I saw the cesspool, I don't see it down that deep so I personally don't think it needed to be raised up. Anyway I'm not professional so I just assume that he's doing a right job and not overcharging me.
5. I forgot that I already paid $275 on the first day so I gave him another $1400 on the second day because he only serviced one pool.
6. I found that when he dig the hole, he also broke my wiring that connects to my detach garage because now my garage is completely out of electricity. If he located my cesspool correctly at the beginning, I don't think he would have broken the wiring. That was the whole story before today.
Now I called and said oh I already gave you $275 as deposit but the lady said the 1st invoice didn't say the $275 is deposit and there is no way that she would do $1400 for everything for 1 pool. And they're not responsible for the broken wiring. To me, they are overcharging me $275 which they originally quoted me $1500 and agreed to match $1400 but now it becomes $1675 in total. And the $275 locating fee actually located a WRONG place which resulted in breaking my underground wiring. One more thing, the owner also recommended me to replace a new cesspool but I rejected right away because it's still functioning and I'm planning to sell my house anyway. (Many other reviews also mentioned that they like to recommend people installing a new cesspool) So please think through it before you decide to hire this company. If you only need them to pump the cesspool, there will probably be no problem but once they tell you that they need additional service, be extra careful if you don't want to be regret like me now!! The lady said I should talk to the owner directly and I thought she would give me the owner's phone number but then she hang up on me. The owner never called back. And he actually replied in facebook and showed his attitude that he will NOT talk to me on this anymore.
I would never recommend this company to anyone, not even my worst enemy. The rudest most unprofessional service. Was recommended by another service to take care of a cesspool issue. The guy that came was very nice but honestly lazy. He poked around my yard trying to find my cesspool for about 3 hours taking a break every 5 mins so basically nothing was done. He refused to snake or do anything to the line in my house in fear of flooding my basement and suggested I dig up my entire yard instead because ""nothing could be done."" After which I was charged a ridiculous service fee for no help and left with an estimate for a pipe replacement and no use of my plumbing. I decided I would call the company to tell them I was not satisfied with their service only to be greeted by the rudest, most obnoxious receptionist who interrupted me to say, ""I would have 3ft of SH*T in my house,"" with my child listening next to me. Needless to say, I will not be recommending them to anyone. Horrible!
Angela H.These guys are great! Two gentlemen, Joe and Mo, came and took care of us. We've had our line cleared just 3 months prior and it wasn't done right so we had another clog. They did a thorough job and great to deal with. Highly recommend!
Outstanding. They were at our house within a half hour and charged a fraction of what two other companies have charged us over the last several years. Stacy and Baby Joe worked in the dark, braving a nasty thicket to get to our cesspool. I can't recommend these folks highly enough!
Frank T.Did ok work. This was the third time we used them. The first team that worked with us was FANTASTIC and our house didn't stink as bad for a main clean. And this time sewage waste was strewn all over my front stoop and walkway.
Unfortunately they are not consistent when you need them. On today's visit they arrived a half day after they said they would, and we got the run around from the company and the kid driving. Going to be working with a more local company going forward after this experience.
It's not fair to the people who work here to send them to angry customers; and yes I was angry.
If I treated my customers like this, I would be lambasted and not paid.
What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Joanne , on the phone, was a pleasure to work with. She made scheduling painless. The day of service, Bobby was great. He was professional, thorough, and just a nice guy. Took some time to explain some things to me, but still managed to get the job done quickly, as per my request, cause I had a meeting to get to.
I have used them twice now, one in a emergency situation, the other just a scheduled maintenance, and I could not be happier.
All in all, I highly highly recommend.

Cesspool Pros just recently replaced my cesspool and overflow pool for a price I felt was fair. Beyond that they went out of their way to save the most important pieces of Landscaped property. It took three companies to come here before them but couldn't find the pool or Imediately told me that the trees would be coming down. Their crew was professional and polite And kept me in formed during the entire process. Take my advice save time call Cesspool pros fir
Jon T.The best of the best !!! Honest company and don't give you the run around. I know , I'm retired Emergency Medical Director. Joe and staff on time and they knew exactly what to do . My cesspool was way off no where near my main line . Joe came with his crew Stacy and like detectives for finding a buried body , they found it and no damage at all to my yard . Joe gave me honest tips and pointers also went a little extra to make sure my cesspool was now mark off and other pipes safe and up to date . Very very personal and kind , not like some other companies. I won't bash with their false prices and rude customer service . Joe kept to his price which is cheaper then anybody else on LongIsland and with diamond service. My pipes are flushing and cleaned. Joe and his crew made sure all was perfect. I recommend him and his company to all !! Trust me , I'm use rescuing these guys out cesspools in my career . Now they rescued my plumbing and cesspool flowing perfect. Don't be scammed by any other company. Use only These guys and they do it all . I never been excited over a cesspool company and service, it's funny but it's true .
I was not at all happy with this company. I thought I was calling one of the multiple Antorinos near Huntington, and somehow got these guys, which was odd. One young man came and told me pumping the cesspool would be about $1,300, and I was fine with that. Somehow, when another guy showed up, the price doubled to $2,595.28, and I was told that a ""collar"" had to be replaced. They were in my yard less than two hours; I had just returned from rehab and was on crutches, and in one of these emergencies, the homeowner is at a disadvantage because the work needs to be done right away. They also charged me a 3% fee for using a credit card! Beat; avoid them.
