One of our toilets started leaking water out the bottom of it - never something you wanna see! Called a guy I'd called once before, but he didn't pick up or call back. So off to Yelp I went! Mark responded extremely quickly to my project request - within minutes I was talking to him and he was instructing me on how to do some basic diagnostic tasks so we knew what we were getting into. He fit us in that day and came prepared for multiple situations, which ended up being extremely helpful. He brought a second tech out and they quickly identified the issue and began resolving it. They even went above and beyond, adding support to a pipe under our deck that was sagging, so the issue would be less likely to happen again. And took a brief look at a second small problem before they left! They were friendly and informative, very patiently willing to answer my many questions so I understood the issues and the fixes. Halfway through our lunar new year dinner, we discovered a puddle of water seeping from under our sink. After over an hour of tinkering, my father finally threw in a towel and we called in the professionals. I sent out a Yelp inquiry for emergency plumbing services and Mark was the first to respond. At first, I was hesitant because they only had six reviews, but they really were like a godsend. Mark said he would send someone in about an hour, but when none of his employees in the area were available, he drove to San Jose from San Mateo himself. It was $250 for emergency services, but he brought the necessary parts to not only fix our sink, but also identified a few other problems and fixed them too. He was so patient with my dad, who in typical Asian father fashion hovered over them the whole time. He explained what they were doing and even followed my dad around the house as my dad thought it would be a great time to consult him on virtually all the things falling apart in our home. In the end, they spent a good hour and a half at our house and left us with not only a fixed sink but also a ton of advice. $250 for same day service, everything was fixed within three hours from when we first submitted our inquiry, what a steal! I cannot recommend Mark and his team enough. They even take Venmo, Zelle, cash, etc. for maximum convenience.

My toilet was clogged and I spent days trying to fix it myself. I contacted Mark on a Sat evening and he responded in minutes. He came over on Sunday and did more than fix my toilet! He checked every sink, tub, shower and toilet in my home to be sure nothing else was stopped up. He went to my crawl space to check the pipes. He discovered that my hot water pipes were not covered properly. Nobody ever saw that. He went outside and uncovered my drainage pipes to be sure they were intact. He explained everything in detail. In my 27 years in this house no other plumber/contractor/engineer ever went above and beyond to be sure that no further issues should arise. Mark is professional, knowledgeable, careful and easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

I have used service from Capri Engineering twice.

First case, all toilets and bathtubs in our house back flew on 01/09/2023. I didn't want to rest serious water damage, so I did a quick search and found Capri Engineering. I requested a quote on Yelp at 5:51 pm and Mark responded at 5:56 pm. He explained two solution options to me and compared the pros vs. cons. They arrived and diagnosed the root cause of the back-flow. They unclogged the sewer main line and installed two clean outs for easy clear in the future. I appreciated Mark walking me through the problem solving process and answering all my questions.

Second case, our gas water heater suddenly leaked and flooded our garage yesterday evening (01/14/2023). I called Mark for urgent rescue. I purchased the new water heater online. Mark went to Home Depot picked it up directly right before Home Depot closed. Mark and his team removed the broken old water heater, installed the new one, and hauled away the old one. The whole process was so smooth. Our hot water supple was only suspended for 3 hours.

Capri Engineering definitely took customer service a step further with their work. I will continue to use their service in the future and also highly recommend to friends.

I received a call back just minutes after submitting my request for services on yelp. After sending some photos of the cabinet between our iPhones a plan was made to come out. Mark arrived Sunday morning to remediate the mold situation and replace the affected parts. The job was done less than 24 hours since I had made first contact.

That was quite a commitment to come out to Santa Cruz from San Jose.

I'm hiring Mark and team to come back and complete some aesthetic upgrades to my kitchen next. A+++++!
