To be more specific. I had a burst irrigation pipe in the backyard that I could only turn off at the water main. Jose came down within the hour and got it fixed up soon after, and we had water again!

Jose responded to our Project promptly, and courteously (unlike some other responders).

gave us a very reasonable estimate, and was able to get the work done the same day.
stayed very close to the original estimate even when additional failed parts were discovered during the work, even though it required multiple trips out for parts. (he had some of the parts we ended up needing on his truck already, but there's no way he could have foreseen everything we found we needed.)

reasonably quick, reasonably priced, pleasant to work with and the work seems to be great. we came away with the impression he went above and beyond, and would strongly encourage anyone to work with him. (we certainly will again.)

I asked him when he was available and he asked if it was an emergency I told him no it was not an emergency and he said tomorrow Between four and five. He was there on time and solve the problem. Outstanding service great response and terrific follow up. I cannot recommend them more than that. They are everything I wanted in a plumber. My basement shower began overflowing with wastewater one night so I sent out a request on yelp for an emergency plumber. Most of them told me they could come out tomorrow morning, but Centro Plumbing & Rooter responded quickly that they could be there in 20 minutes. I knew nothing about Centro Plumbing & Rooter before this, but I needed someone out immediately so I asked him to come by. I consider myself extremely lucky that a plumber as good and HONEST as Jose was the plumber who was able to come out immediately.

Jose diagnosed the issue quickly, and gave a valiant effort to fix it. When he didn't have success, he pulled out his cameras and looked at my pipes and discovered a major issue due to a previous plumbers mistake. Despite it taking away work from him, Jose told me I needed to get that other plumber to pay to fix it because this wasn't right. Jose then spent the next few days coaching me on exactly what to say to this plumber and that plumber eventually came out and completely replaced his mistake on his dime.

Jose saved me an enormous amount of money, and I truly can't thank him enough. He'll be my first call if/when I have plumbing issues in the future.

From start to finish, an exemplary experience. I was out of town when a bathroom drain blocked up. The people staying at my house called Albert Nahman -- I'm here to say that's a poor idea. Their quote involved a camera and some other elaborate sounding stuff and came to $1400. Excellent yelp reviews brought me to José and a quote that was reasonable and fair and not $1400. He arrived exactly when he said he would and had the drain squared away in about an hour. And then he cleaned up the mess and was on his way --but not after doing a couple of quick plumbing fixes I've just been ignoring like a shower head that's been leaking and needed to be properly screwed back in and an explanation for the loud noise in another shower that's something I can fix myself with a new shower head. José is the real deal. It's also really lovely to hire someone who's decided, after years of working as a plumber for other companies, to go out in his own. I'm pleased to be able to support that and wish him a thriving business, which he's sure to have given what an excellent plumber and all around good guy he is!
