Not sure these guys are trustworthy and seems they are okay with junior folks performing service without appropriate supervision. Used these guys a few weeks ago to investigate and repair a kitchen faucet with low water pressure. Got upcharged when the tech decided the issue wasn't with the faucet and needed to go into the supply line. The net-net was then that our faucet (of 10+ years) had a faulty design, that it was fixed for now, but we could have issues later. In the interim, I learned from our tenant who was present during the service that 1) the tech lost something in our fixture that he was unable to recover and 2) the supervisor on the job spent most of his time playing on his phone rather than supervising. Two weeks later, the issue returned. Upon inspection by another plumber, it was determined that the supply valves were bad and needed replacing and our fixture, while old, was not flawed or problematic. Valve replacement seems to have fixed the issue. Also seems this should have been discovered by Central's tech when they evaluated our supply line for the additional posed charged. Two days later and I am still awaiting a call back from Central to discuss the issue....
I had a leak (a crack) in the cast iron drainage pipe that runs from the 2nd floor toilet to the basement. I had three estimates prior to choosing the company to complete the work. The estimates had two options depending on where the crack was located. Central seemed like they honestly wanted to do the right amount of work and not just default to option two that double the price of the work. I have absolutely nothing to complain about, terrific. They were on-time, easily discussed the project, very component, did the work in a reasonable amount of time, cleaned up, advised me on another project (roped them in while they were there), advised me on how to treat the water damage, billed me for option 1 (whew). Overall great.

Kim S.This is a wonderful local company with good people and great service. They've recently worked on both our Amana heater and our nearly antique AC system several times and have kept our family comfortable. They fixed the air conditioner within 5 hours of the phone call in a 100 degree heatwave- lifesaver! Response time is very quick and the service is friendly- happy to use them for all our needs!
I called this company out of the blue for an estimate. I had some education and they did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. When it came time for the job to be done, they arrived on time and worked until it was completely finished. Putting in new A/C units during one of the hottest summers in history would typically make tempers flair. However, these guys worked well together. There was no frustration, yelling, cursing, NOTHING! They are EXTREMELY professional and went over every detail with me until I was satisfied. They worked neatly and cleanly. In addition, left my home in perfect order. These men were a pleasure to have working in my home.
Dawn R.I've used their services twice and I'm satisfied with their work but the cost makes me hesitate using them for other jobs. Overall a good experience...

Mark Sobon, Project Manager, is being investigated for the theft of my jewelry (est. value $3,000.00). The facts are: April 2012 I contracted Central Mechanical and Construction, Inc (CMC) to re-tile master bath. Prior to the start of the project I emptied out my bedroom and all valuables. The evening of June 22, we put all the contents of the bedroom back. The project was 85 - 90% complete. After putting the bedroom and valuables back, there were only two contractors on the remainder of my project. Crystal View, end of June, two workmen were left for approx. 1 - 2 minutes unsupervised. I walked my dogs down to a first floor laundry room. When I came back, I sat on my bed and watched the workers unpack and install my shower enclosure. Whereas, Mark Sobon was left in my room unsupervised most of the time. He had been working in my home for months and I was complacent with his comings and goings. The project was complete in late July.
On 09/07/12, I went to retrieve my jewelry. The jewelry was suppose to be a gift for my daughter on her wedding day. Both the sterling silver necklace w/7 large smoky topaz, and sterling silver over-sized cuff w/milky pink rose quartz (total carat wt. over 100 carats in semi-precious stones) was gone. I texted Sobon: At 10:06 AM - ""missing jewlry from pillowcase."" 09/08 @ 6:31 Am - ""investigation starts end week. i have faith u will do right. if not, hope u didn't leave fingerprints on bag."" at 6:37 AM - ""contact me."" I didn't hear or receive any reply from Sobon. I used the same cell number I had always used while he was working on my project (number from bussiness card). On 09/10/12 @ 8:22 AM, I sent the following texts to Mike Gable (owner CMC): ""the following 3 txt was sent to Sobon on friday afternoon & sat. morning. no reply."" I proceeded to forward the text messages that I sent to mark Sobon. Before I could forward the last text, Mike Gable called me. He asked for an explanation. I told him about the missing jewelry. He was insistent that Sobon could not have stolen my jewelry. I asked if Sobon would clear himself through polygraph test. Gable said, that would be no problem. I'm confident he's innocent and would be happy to take the polygraph. The only thing I ask is that you give a couple of days notice, so I can arrange the work schedule.
On 12/12, I emailed CMC to ask if Sobon could have time off to take the polygraph test. CMC's reply, ""Mark will not be taking the polygraph. Our lawyer recommended that he does not take the test."" 12/13/12 Sobon emailed me, ""I never scheduled an appointment w/a dectective to take the polygraph. I volunteered to take a polygraph and it will be done at my convenience not yours. I will not take time off from work because you want me to, unless you are going to pay for my hourly billable time. I will work out the most convenient time for ME and will schedule it with the dectective."" My reply 12/27/12 to Sobon& CMC was: ""I will write a review in Yelp& Angie's List in March; This gives you 6 months from the reported theft of my jewelry. In closing, own the mistakes you make. Or the mistakes will own you. Integrity is what you do when no one is looking. Choose well, if not for yourself, then for your child.""
It has been OVER six months, Mark Sobon has NOT cleared himself, as promised.
