I discovered a water leak in my basement ceiling. I found Central Plumbing on Yelp and Angies List, and gave them a call. Chris came out, found the leak and made the repair. Chris is friendly and professional. He works quickly and cleans up after he is done.
I was so impressed that I asked him about replacing my water heater.
He got me a quote and i told him to go ahead with the job for tomorrow.
He came out when he said he would and with an assistant took out the old water heater and put in the new one.
It went well and again he was very professional and friendly.
I would recommend Central Plumbing to anyone!! They were great!!

These guys are awesome! Arrive when they say they will arrive...which, for a last minute emergency call, was above and beyond appreciated. After a party on Sunday evening, our basement toilet overflowed. After multiple attempts to clear the clog myself, I realized there was a bigger problem. Given that all the toilets and sinks started to backup, I needed to help. Central Plumbing was the only company I called that was willing to send someone out on Sunday night. I paid a premium for the service, but he quickly identified the source of my issues as tree roots in main drain. The plumber deployed the patented Central Plumbing and quickly eliminated the roots and clog.

Called Central 9/29 for a rusted out drain between the walls. Chris came out on the 27th to look it over and Chris and Tom were there on the 28th fixing it. It wasn't easy being in the wall, they removed my dishwasher and broke open the wall so it was a tight squeeze. Had a little issue with reinstalling the dishwasher, but after a few visits and going in a different direction, all went well. All I can say is don't think twice about this company,

Central Plumbing guys were great! I called on Monday morning (Columbus Day) and they were at my house by 11am. They used their camera to check our storm water drains, saw the blockage and rodded out massive amounts of roots. SO much better than the other company I had out in November to install (badly and at an angle) a clean out pipe and rod. They were polite, friendly and a explained everything very clearly. Sumps are now sending water to the ditch again instead of recycling in the pit. I am much relieved. Highly recommended.

I am so pleased with this company, especially after having had a negative experience in the past with a different company. I had a new food disposal and shower head installed, a toilet repaired and a few other odds and ends. Central Plumbing is a great company. I'm not the easiest person to deal with , rather I should say with my project I wasn't, and working with Rob and his dad was a blessing in disguise.

For my project I was doing a new buildout of pretty ratchet and neglected office space. Rob's dad came by looked around , looked at the blueprints, gave me some suggestions, and off he went to work. The quote given was very reasonable for the work done. The tore up the concrete and capped two pipes, capped parts of the ceiling ( didn't know they did could do that , they should advertise it ), installed a new toilet, 2 sinks, and water heater. Where there was 3 toilets there is now one.

What made them great?
1. They were on time each time.
2. Worked with my schedule to have job completed within time frame.
3. Gave advice of what to expect from pipes that have not been used in a while and what to do to fix any problem. Problem occurred just like they said would most likely happen.
4. Genuine and sincere family.

I literally can't say enough great things about Central Plumbing Co. I was referred to Rob by a trusted friend to help with a couple issues in my newly purchased condo. For the immediate issue, Rob and Chris came out to fix the issue with my kitchen sink/dishwasher overflowing and augured the kitchen line. To be thorough, they went into the basement to auger the main drainage line (which i don't think my condo association has touched in a very long time). Good thing they did because they cleared years of blockage and made sure everything was clean when they left.

For my second appointment, Chris came to replace the basement sump pumps. I had previously been quoted by another company at a much higher rate. Since Central Plumbing's employees do not work off commission like other companies, they quoted a good price with quality work. My pumps are working great and they did a great job.

It's sometimes hard to know whether you are being taken advantage of when you know nothing about plumbing (especially as a female) and I never once felt like this at all with Central Plumbing. I received nothing but great service and professionalism from both Chris and Rob. They have a customer for life and I'd recommend them to anyone.
