On Jan 28, 2019 we had a service person come out to do the annual service on our furnace. He stated on the invoice ""FILTER OK"". My husband was standing with me at the furnace when I questioned him about the filter and he said it was ok. I told him it hadn't been changed in over a year since we had been out of town. He stated it must not have been used. We had the heat on while we were gone!!! We told him we were selling the house so we wanted to make sure everything was done.

We have sold the home and on 28 Mar 2019 (two months later) the inspector for the buyers stated the furnace filter was dirty and needed to be changed. Not only that but whomever put in it smashed the side of it in!!! Guess who did that? We have never changed the filter ourselves. The filter is not DIRTY, IT IS DISCUSSINGLY FILTHY!!!!

Central Heating is not only the worse company in Central Oregon, they won't stand behind their work.

I filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General since I have gotten run around from the front desk.

Called this place to have a water heater installed. Was told i would get a call back that evening or the next morning. Two days later, Nothing. I went and bought a water heater and installed it myself.

This is absolutely the worst and most unprofessional business my husband and I have encountered. They do very shoddy work. We were hounded for payment when they completed the job and my husband said he would pay them when he inspected the job. They ran new duct work under the house and did sub standard work. They blamed their horrific job on poor weather conditions. They left debris under the house, which is against code, and had the duct work pinched off in areas so air would not flow. My husband asked to meet with the owner and the supervisor in charge of the ""journeymen "" that did the job. Four of them showed up at the meeting and tried to use intimidation tactics to get my husband to back down. That didn't happen. My son went along and was so appalled at the men's behavior he has told everyone he knows not to use this company. They are liars and do everything to cover up their mistakes. I have no clue how they stay in business. If they closed their doors they would be doing the community a huge favor. I hope one star means this company is awful. If not, that's what I want it to convey.

They were more concerned with selling me a package then actually repairing my central air unit which wasn't working. The technician came in, examined our unit, turned the circuit breaker off and then on again, proclaimed that he didn't know what the issue was, then tried to sell us some sort of package deal where they would come out to service our HVAC even though he didn't know how to service our HVAC. Then he charged us a $90 traveling fee even though they're located in Madras and our house was not even a mile away. I also noticed that the 10+ negative reviews they used to have here on Yelp enumerating their ineptitude are mysteriously gone. These reviews were all posted when I checked in December of 2015. It is now April of 2016 and they're all gone, leaving just one 5 star review. Shady.

Shopped around and checked out references for service work. Great phone customer service right on through to the field tech. Brian Smith is top notch and very detailed and did a great job of cleaning all the duct work. He was neat and friendly and thorough; their prices are fair for that level of work. I will be using them from now on!
