Founded in 1967 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, our family-owned business started with just three team members. Over the years, we have steadily grown, opening a branch in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, to serve the Mercer County area. This office has since moved to 1010 East State Street, Sharon, Pennsylvania. In the fall of 1992, we launched a retail outlet for plumbing, heating, and air conditioning supplies. You can find this facility at 914 Moravia Street, New Castle, Pennsylvania. In July 2001, we launched our third location in Grove City, PA, at 804 West Main Street. Currently, we have a workforce of 86 dedicated employees and more than 50 service vehicles to address all customer requirements.

I called Central Plumbing, they came over to check my bathroom sink. They said fixing it would cost at least $800.00 and maybe more because they might have to tear a wall down. we, not being of Wealth said not so fast, then our kitchen sink was not going down great so we called SureFlo and thank God, they came and fixed both sinks for under $200.00. what great luck for using Plumbers that know how to fix a problem at a fair price. shame on you and your pretend plumbing experts. can't wait to tell twitter!
Ridiculous price for a garbage disposal. I expected a high price, but $250 for the exact, same model I could get from Amazon for $100 or from Home Depot for $110. The labor was also high but I expected that. This will be the last time I call these shysters.

Holly C.I give them zero stars! The owner named Tracy is super rude, disrespectful, threatening, and doesn't listen to anything you have to say, and she hangs up on you. Her employees are rude. The ones that answers the phone calls are rude they like to hung up on you. Also the person they sent out to fix our issue was super rude to the point he violated my house by slamming my door open so hard that it swung and hit my house siding and swung back shut breaking my door all because I asked him about my bill. Then when he got in his truck he sped off almost hitting my husband with this work vehicle. Plus we have young kids on our street and the way he was taking off acting crazy he could of hit one of those children cause they were outside playing in grass right by the street. All this happened because we wanted to know about our bill and the charges because when I first made the appointment for them to come out they told me the guy would be at our house in 15 minutes and to have $88 to pay him and they take cash or credit card. So when you get an bill for $134 you are going to question it because that's not what you were told originally. When the guy brought bill inside our house the first thing he said was I have to hurry up cause I have someone picking me up in ten minutes. So he already had an attitude about us asking about the charges because he just wanted to leave. So with us ask about the bill and why $134 and not $88 like I was originally told gave him even an worse attitude he says take it up with my boss didn't even give us a chance to pay it. Then with attitude he open his case shoving the bill in it and slamming open my door like I said with so much force and attitude that it flew open and hit house an flew back shut. So I called Central to report him and the owner Tracy called couple days later and left messages with an attitude problem. On another One of her messages she threatened us, said ignorant things to us etc. Your an owner of an company and you can't keep your composure and talk to customers nice and calm no matter whose at fault. So when we finally talked she wouldn't let me tell my point of view. But oh she let her employees talk to her about it. And said everything she wanted to with a stank attitude and threatened us again. Lied saying we were swearing at all her employees we've talked to. Which we didn't swear at anyone. Saying we are trying to not pay which is a complete lie cause we were trying to pay the guy but he's the one that took off with out payment saying take it up with my boss. He was to worried about leaving cause he had like I said before he supposedly had to meet someone. Basically anything I said about what happened (which wasn't much cause she wouldn't even let me talk) she didn't want to listen to and didn't believe. Telling me you better pay your bill today or she's taking it to the magistrate. And that they will never do business with us again. then hung up on me. Really your an professional esp for an owner of an company and this is how you talk to your customers. Please, please don't use their services because they are rude, lie about prices and then add charges and don't even tell you til you getting ur bill. And if you have any issues the owner Tracy she will believe everything her employees say and listen to nothing the customer says. To her, her employees are right and u the customer are wrong no matter what!!

She was calling my phone and leaving disrespectful messages so I called her back just to listen to her threatening me and my wife to use magistrate ooooowww We are so scared, anyways this how it goes, through a program we got a new furnace and Central Heating and Pluming was the ones to put it in around 2013 and ever since then there's been problems with it we wish we would of kept our old furnace if we would of known that so this is the third time they had to come out and second time in less then 2 years to fix the ignition switch the guy sat out in the car for 15 min before he came in and he was on his phone the whole time because he didn't know what to do then he goes back to the van and takes 23 min claiming he was trying to find the piece then it only takes the man 5 min to put the piece on i grabbed his tools for him and brought them upstairs like I did when he came and took them downstairs in the basement for him because he was a very old guy had problems walking, the guy then says I'm in a rush I have 10 min before my ride leaves me and try's to charge me for a hour and a half for a job that took him only 5 minutes to do so we need and my wife try to talk to the guy about the bill and he started to get mad and stormed out my house and slammed my door so hard that it bounced back open and said take it up with my boss and took off. They are so very disrespectful and liars I reported them to the BBB BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and by the way I have proof of what I'm saying always try to get proof when something doesn't seem right start recording with ur phone everyone have a good day and god bless.
I scheduled them out to clean and adjust my gas boiler furnace because I was out of town and my wife noticed some soot in the basement. I grew up with a plumping and heating business in the family, when my father was alive but had since passed , so I normally can do this myself. The tech came in looked in the furnace, took some co2 readings and said i needed a new furnace. They never did clean or adjust my furnace to see if they could correct the problem (typically soot is a result of bad draft, dirty burners and oxygen/gas mix).
All they wanted was to sell me a new furnace which they gladly come out that same day to quote.
I'm not saying my older furnace is efficient and probably should be replaced, but to not even attempt to solve the problem is just a disgrace to the industry many of my family members worked in for over 6O years!
The service parts counter charged me $91 for a $15 flame sensor, and told me they gave me a discount. That is with me replacing the item myself they never came to my house. Ripoffs when you have no choise no heat, sad they abuse that situation.
Let me begin by saying I purchased both my furnace and air conditioning system from Central Heating, and I was pleased with the price and the installation. However, we woke up Sunday morning with no heat and immediately called Central Heating. A service tech called back and the first thing he advised me was that there was a $185 charge for coming out on the weekend. As I said at the time, ""we have no heat and it's going to be 17 degrees tonight, get out here and fix it."" After several hours, the tech arrived, poked around a lot, and told me we needed a new gas valve in the furnace, but he did not have one in his truck. ""You can run down to the shop (two miles) and get one?"" I stupidly asked. The tech said he couldn't do that as he doesn't have a key to get in the shop to get parts. He said he would be back first thing Monday, assuming he didn't have another call first. Monday morning, still without heat, I called Central at 10:30 AM, and was told the tech was on another job. The tech then called and said he would be at least another hour.
The technician finally arrived and fixed the problem. However, we were charged an additional $88 AFTER the $185 we paid on the previous day. So we paid $185 to have a technician come out on the weekend and tell us that yes, we had no heat, and no, he did not have access to the part needed to fix it. The only consolation was that the part was under warranty. When I paid the extra charge for a weekend service call, it was under the assumption that Central would fix the problem. Instead, I paid $185 to spend the night under a pile of blankets.
This wasn't the first time I've had this issue. In December 2016, I was working on my rental house, where the furnace had also been installed by Central. The heat went out, I called Central, and was told it would be FOUR DAYS before anyone could get to me. So I called someone else and had it working within a few hours.
I get the impression that Central is primarily concerned with commercial accounts and that residential customers are an afterthought.
They charged me $200 to unclog my drain. They didn't get it unclogged and still charged me. They didn't really put any effort into it. I then called Roto Rooter who charged me $300. They unclogged it with no problem.I found out there's a few companies out there that will do it for under $100.
