Won't give a basic estimate... Charge $90 just to come out and then bid outrageous price... Literally eight times($4000) the cost of what I found to do the job($500)

Eric came as quickly as he could and stated up front what he thought was the cause of the issue and what he would likely need to do. He kept me informed as he went along and his initial hypothesis was indeed correct and he did a great job with the repair. He also explained things at length once finished, in a manner which made a lot of sense to a non-plumbing individual. Just an all-around super-nice, professional person. I highly recommend their service and we need to be supporting these great local businesses.

if you want a technician to come to your home and tell you that your C02 levels are to the point of dangerous and telling you that they are shutting off your furnace right then and put a huge scare into you by saying if you start it up you and your family, children and pets will be dead in two hours then go ahead and use this company.
The technician then went ahead and told us that we needed a new furnace and stack for our home because the furnace was cracked on the inside (which is was not) and the stack on the outside of the home was rusted and about to fall off. (that was untrue also)
Then said we needed to order asap and was going to charge us over $4500 dollars, plus labor.
This company is nothing but con-artists trying to scare people into buying things that are not needed and perfectly fine.

When I called to complain to the manager, he of course was not there and I was told to leave a message. I did. Received a phone call the next day and was told that they just recalibrated their machines and maybe that was the problem.
I had Northwestern Energy come out and they checked out everything and told me I did not have a leak or a crack. Not one register in their equipment of Co2.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want to be ripped off!

We purchased a new Lennox furnace and air conditioner in a 21 year old house. The old furnace had a cracked heat exchanger. The installation went smoothly and the installers were enjoyable men who had expert knowledge and genuine kindness. Every technician who has come to service it over the years has been efficient, professional and fun. The two new units have made such a difference in the heating and cooling costs of the house. They also installed an icomfort thermostat, which we can control via our phone. If you need help with anything within their expertise, use them. They are an exceptional business with quality people who care about their jobs and the people they do service for.

Be prepared for the hard sale. Will ask for your credit card number and $89 just to leave the shop. Non-refundable. Told us our hot water heater was out. $2999 for their bottom of the barrel heater with labor (what a deal!). Wouldn't guarantee their work unless we spent another $2000 for their cheapest option water softener. Tried to push financing and a decision right away because they were so busy. Had a second opinion. The only thing wrong was the water heater expansion tank was out, absolutely nothing wrong with the hot water heater. Total cost $260. Be wary. Reviews are definitely updated by employees or friends because if you check Better Business reviews, this is common practice.

Very professional & caring. Hot water heater blew on a Friday nite. They came first thing Saturday morning. They had great communication between us, the tech, & the company. We were informed at all times. Left the basement clean & welding job was immaculate. We now will switch to Central plumbing for all our needs. Thanks

Annual maintenance by service technician Ken Gray. He was friendly, knowledgeable & courteous.
By using the service coupon that is sent out yearly I was able to get the service at a discounted price which is always a great thing.

ouch! i have been shocked with an unexpected bills before, however, this was new territory. i call the company to repair a furnace that was not working. the problem was a dead AA battery in the thermostat. for this i was charged $311......and then was told ""that was really quite a bargain""
if that sort of price scheduling is in the range you feel is fair, then, by all means give central plumbing and heating a call ! cheers

RAPE!!!!!!!!

The service guy was very nice of course - but nothing was fixed and I am out $180 just because he touched my faucet. The $89 fee no longer applied as soon as he touched the faucet - and then after he left the faucet was the same as I had it be fore he arrived- no ACTION at all was performed - they have all my money and I have no water. Then over $800 just to install 1 faucet to fix the problem - that was unacceptable and over $500 estimate to just go get the part and come back at a later date that could not be scheduled.

I had an emergency and Central was there to help me! My daughters wedding was in 2 days and my hot water heater went out with a house full of company in the middle of summer.
