I had them come out to replace a few broken outdoor water spigots. The work was fine and the plumber was good. The problem came when the plumber left the check I paid him with in his vehicle in his wallet. His truck was broken into and the wallet along with my check was stolen. It wasn't until 10 days later that I received a call from the plumber who then explained what happened and instructed me to put a stop payment on my check and that he'd need me to write another check. He asked me if the office had called me to let me know. I said no. So I called the office to find out why I was not contacted about this sooner. She said she call me a couple of times. I told her I didn't get any messages. She informed me she didn't leave a message. I asked her why with something this important that she didn't feel it was necessary to leave a message? She couldn't answer my question. The plumber told me that they would reduce the cost for the inconvenience by $30. I told her I was also being charged a stop payment fee and would she cover that as well? She said no. I'd also like to add that they have a 10% off coupon for new customers on their website that they refused to honor. So basically the low rating was because of the poor customer service, the lack of concern about contacting me asap and leaving a message about my check being stolen, the lack of security over keeping my payment information safe, and the dishonesty of not honoring a coupon.
