I have a Home Warranty company that we use for all our repairs for our home that assigned this company to come out and repair/replace our disposal. All contractors are suppose to call customers 24hrs once assigned, we rec a call 48-72 hrs after from a Virginia. Virginia confirmed that the next opening was 1/2/21 and that the tech would arrive between 1-3pm. Virginia also was very pushy at having me pay my deductible to them prior to the tech going out , or he wouldn't come out ( which is against my home warranty policy) Let Virginia know that our last repair took over 2 months to fix and that I was a little hesitant but I would pay my warranty company; which I did. 1/2/21 came around, i received a text saying the tech would be out that day between 1-3pm BUT NO ONE SHOWED UP, NO CALL NO TEXT or anything. I called Central Cal Builders BUT the office said they were closed. I called the following day, but they were still closed. Called Monday left VM around 8am, waited until 9:15am and called again finally someone answered Virginia again, first she said they aren't open on Saturdays , then she said the tech didnt call or show to my appt becasue he was picking up his wife from the hospital. When I asked if it was covid she said no, Virginia said his wife had surgery and she knew he was going to pick her up but wasn't aware he wasn't going to his scheduled appointments. I asked why no one called me and she said she didnt know but that she came into the office that morning which seemed odd becasue she had told me 1 min before no one works weekends there. Virginia had me hold while she spoke to the owner abt when they could ""squeeze me in"" for a service- and came back to say 1-3pm on Wednesday, I mentioned that I had to work then and I would lose pay but she was not budging on the time or day and had a S-O-L attitude.

I've used other plumbers before; however, as I have Sears Home Warranty, they (Sears) have contracts with various companies, and Central Cal Builders, Inc. is affiliated with Sears when it comes to assisting with Sears' Home Warranty clients. I had contacted them, due to two shower heads not turning on to allow water to come out -- I had only been using one, of three, showers and, after more than a year of not using these two, water simply wasn't pouring out. Thus, on the phone, they initially stated it was probably going to be a water line issue (immensely expensive); however, it ended up just being the two filters, in the shower heads, due to mineral build-up.

Tech Edwing was the one who came out to my house and he was IMMENSELY GRACIOUS, COURTEOUS, and was WEARING A MASK, given we are currently enduring The Pandemic of COVID19. He also arrived 35-minutes ahead of the scheduled time which was SOOOO AWESOME!!! As we all know, a bit too well, most service companies don't have their techs show up early (especially!), or on-time, as they normally appear towards the end of the stated time frame. Additionally, Edwing was TREMENDOUSLY KIND to my elderly mother. He was a terrific reflection of the quality Central Cal Builders provides their clients.

I highly recommend using Central Cal Builders. I have dealt with several plumbing companies over the years. They are definitely the best! The customer service is outstanding (Virginia ). The technician who came out, Ciro was professional, quick, and so respectful. I feel confident giving them the highest review possible. I will be using them I. The future for sure.
