I purchased a home form Atherton Homes 2008 and Center Plumbing installed the toilet as new. We have being having problems with the master bedroom toilet leaking for about past 6 months and had two plumbers come out. It really baffled us when we couldn't find the leak. During the last service call, the very bright plumber from Tony's Plumbing that came to diagnose the problem found the toilet bowl was cracked. Under further investigation, the bowl had been repaired and had putty placed over the crack and sold as new when I purchased the home. Watch out for both of these entities. Atherton wouldn't honor the warranty nor would Center Plumbing. I would have no problem replacing the toilet if it was just a crack; however, because there was putty placed over the crack when no other repairs had been made in the past, I can only come to the conclusion the toilet had been repaired installed and presented as new.
