It was immediately evident the owner knows his business and is interested in good service. He was clear and courteous in his explanations and his work went above and beyond what we'd hoped for while staying in his (very reasonable) stated budget. This was on a repair and correct-old-errors project for an old (100 yrs.+) house. Enthusiastic appreciation. Check out their BBB page.

The owner, who is a one-man show, is flaky, unprofessional, and undependable. He installed two toilets for me and appeared to do a good job, so I asked him if he could run a gas line for a gas range. He threw me a price and I accepted. Then, after I pursued it more, I found out that did not include an inspection. With an inspection, the price went up $250. The day of the job, Saturday, came, he was a no-show. I contacted him and he said he would come Sunday. Sunday, he was a no-show again. I texted him and he texted back saying he couldn't make it with no mention of rescheduling or apologies. I never heard from him again and that was 10 days ago. I would NOT recommend Celtic Plumbing and Niall.
