I needed a plumber 21 years ago and have used Mike ever since. I have bought and sold two other properties and did full renovation projects that included all new plumbing for the entire homes. Mike does what he says, is reliable, he does not try and sell me stuff I do not need, he uses quality products so you do not need to call him back. If it is a small or big job, I do not get gouged with pricing either and he always shows up when he says.

Claim to accept credit card payments on their website but they don't. Not many people run around with $700 shoved up their a$$! I have used them twice before for other plumbing needs,, but no more! My son in law is traveling all the way from North Beach MD. THANKS ALOT MIKE!!!!

I first got in touch with Mike from Cedar Run Plumbing through another contractor to look at my renovated old rental house in Harrisonburg in February of 2015. The pipes were freezing up in 2 of the 3 bathrooms and in the kitchen because of poor renovation work done before I bought the house. At that time he made a visit to look at the situation and made recommendations. He did not charge me. Over the next 18 months he fixed some small problems for me (such as the outside faucet that I had another plumber install before I met Mike--the other plumber installed it wrong so that water stayed in the faucet and froze, breaking it, during the next winter.) After another visit last fall which I was not charged for, we scheduled to have the pipes rerouted. He gave me an estimate of $500, and although two of his men were at the house for over 4 hours that day (we had to open up several places in the walls to find exactly how the pipes were routed,) he charged me quite a bit under the estimate. I cannot say enough about Mike's work ethic, honesty, and fairness, not to mention his plumbing expertise. I have had so much overcharging from plumbers over the years that I thought it was inevitable. I wish I lived in the area so that I could have him work on my own home!
