josh ray is as unprofessional as unprofessional can be. he is constantly bragging about how good he is at golf instead of just working on the jobs at hand. he also belittles every single worker he has and constantly swears on the job. on top of that he is always trying to push the price up on the job even when it shouldn't or you have already agreed on a set price. his van always looks like downtown san fransico just a mess and hes always acting like he's gods gift. i wouldn't let this man clean up my dog poop let alone touch water in my house!

Very unprofessional ! They did not complete the job but took my money; which I foolishly paid. I had to pay someone else to finish the job. Very rude and had no interest in helping me out. Would strongly suggest you use someone else for your plumbing issues!

I had CBR plumbing come out to my house two times. The first time they came out (Spring 2015) for a basic main drain cleaning. I call, set up an appointment for the next day. They gave me a window of time for arrival. They did not show, nor did they call. I called them after the end of the scheduled time period and the person I spoke to apologized and sent someone out the next day. They gave me a small discount for missing the appointment the day before.
Taking the discount and forgiving the mix up, I gave them a 2nd try. Early Winter 2015 I called them to fix a clog issue. Called that morning, and set up an appointment for that day. Was told that they would come out between a window of time, again - ok. This time they showed up 2 hours after the end of the scheduled time frame. Basically wasting an entire work day rather than a half day, as I originally planned given the morning phone conversation. The plumber came in, saw the problem, stated it was an easy fix, pulled the toilet and snaked the drains, took $225 and left.
The next day I noticed I was still having draining issues. The toilet was still having trouble flushing and bubbling every time other water sources were in use. I left town for a week and called them when I got back (this was around the holidays). I explained that the issue was still present. The person that answered the phone cut me off in the middle of explaining the situation and stated he was in the middle of moving his pool table and furniture and he would call me back to set up an appointment to come back out. He called me back stating that he spoke to the plumber that snaked my drains and stated since there were roots in the drains they do not guarantee work if they find roots, and told me that it's been a week since I called and therefore for all he knows I could of stuffed all sorts of things down the toilet like tampons or something... He then proceeded to tell me how much his equipment cost. That his snaking tools cost $500 and he is not risking his equipment to unclog my drains - incase they find more roots. Not wanting to talk to me any longer the guy on the phone told me he would call me back and hangs up on me. Of course he did not call me back, nor did he return my phone call afterwards to try to remedy the situation.
Well CBR, you charged me $225 for half ass snaking job - so I practically just paid for half of your equipment. Right? Please note that the plumber only took out a small hand full of roots while snaking.
Providing a service, and taking money for something they were unable to fix, blaming/ignoring the customer, showing up late, THAN not even ATTEMPING to try to resolve the situation after being contacted, is poor customer service.
I ended up calling Michigan Power Rodding, whom were extremely helpful, answered all my questions, asked me useful questions about the house (which CBR did not) snaked the drains with the appropriate amount of length (unlike CBR) and I have not had a single problem since! Unfortunately, I had to pay for a TWO snaking within a month! Since CBR wouldn't even attempt to try to look at the issue they never fixed but took and kept payment. Would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Unprofessional.
