Established in 1990, we have been dedicated to serving the Winchester, VA community for more than 25 years!
Delmas Pratt launched his career in the ""cabinet business"" as a kitchen and bath installer in Moorefield, WV, during the early 1970s. Following several years, he was promoted to Manager of a kitchen and bath products dealer that had not yet opened in Winchester, VA. With over fifteen years in management, he decided to create his own kitchen and bath products dealership, Cavalier Kitchens & Baths, Inc., in partnership with Scott Dyke.
Scott Dyke, who hails from Winchester, began his professional journey at the manufacturing facilities of American Woodmark, which was formerly known as Boise Cascade. Having years of experience in manufacturing and operations management, he served as Sales Manager at the kitchen and bath products dealer run by Delmas Pratt. In 1989, Scott and Delmas joined forces to create Cavalier Kitchens & Baths, Inc., which continues to uphold an outstanding reputation and commitment in the community.

The customer service here is pretty good. I was able to reach the owner/higher management quickly when I noticed water damage to my cabinets. The water damage was due to the granite countertop being cut too shallow. When water from the sink splashes onto the countertop, it ends up rolling straight down onto the cabinets below, damaging them and eating the finish. The company came out to take a look and said the problem was with the cabinet installation and not the countertops.
The person who initially measured my cabinets and sold me the countertops, Cindy, no longer works at this company and as a result the company does not want to warranty their work. The company is blaming the installation of my cabinets, however, the cabinets were already installed when Cindy took measurements. If the cabinets were a problem, then why didn't Cindy say something instead of going ahead and ordering the granite countertops? In addition, why didn't the people who came out to install the granite say something? This company should stand behind their work whether or not their employees are still employed here. Very disappointed.
Eileen M.Our experience here today was a huge disappointment, especially after reading some good reviews. The saleswoman, who said she was a designer, seemed downright resistant to coming the 15 miles to look at our bathroom unless we were committed to completely gutting our bathroom. What we wanted was to take out a garden tub and put in a large shower....but we needed the expertise of a designer. Perhaps we will end up with new cabinets, countertop/sinks but it sure won't be with this company. Miserable customer service!!!!
My experience with Cavalier was absolutely awesome!! The staff was very friendly, professional and went above and beyond. So much so, that we plan to remodel our bathrooms next and will undoubtedly have Cavalier do them. Cavalier received ROCK STAR status in my book!! Two thumbs up!!
