Excellent service! I was very impressed with how great everything went. I had used them in the past a couple of times for my parents house and I was glad to see that I could get them out for help on a big job. The office staff was great. I took a few extra business cards....I would highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable work done.
Thank you!
This is a terrible company. They made appointment with me but did not come. I was patient and rescheduled the appointment for next day but they did not come again. We wasted a lot of time waiting for them and the heat remained unfixed. They do not respect costumers. Do not call them.
SLOW AND WAY OVER PRICED!! It doesn't seem like they give a damn about their customers.
Called and waited for 2 weeks without any one responding. The first call, the receptionist stated that 1 hour of labor costs $145. My building's management gave us the okay for renovation on Monday, and we must use this shit hole of a company. Since Monday, I've been calling. I was told that someone can drop by Tuesday, but no one came. It was postponed to Wednesday, but then I was told that there are suddenly 2 trucks short and the truck must come with the plumbers to turn off the water and gas, and to wait till Thursday.
I got so pissed on Thursday, having no way of contacting the boss, Tom, who apparently takes care of everything, but there is absolutely no way to directly getting to him other than to have to leave a message with the receptionist. And who know when Tom will return your call. I ended up called apartment management to see if someone there can speak to Catalano on my behalf.
Unlike the 4 star review on Jan.16th, where the reviewer called and Catalano Plumbing came right away; the news I got was that Catalano needs customers to fill out forms, via email, so they can schedule a work date. All of a sudden there's this email requirement I have to fulfill that no one thought to inform me on??? WHY THE F**K DID THE RETARDED AS HELL RECEPTIONIST NOT INFORM ME OF THIS ON MONDAY?!?! I've never met someone in the customer service business be absent minded. She always spoke in a calm state but never tells you sh*t.
All I needed done was to have the gas and water shut off, and install less than 2 yards of pipes for a bit of kitchen renovation. My needs were simple, move the stove's gas pipes to the window and install a water pipe for the fridge. Had to get management to hurry their slow asses up constantly, gave them a call every single day, wrote emails to them every damn day. Apparently the boss, Tom, never f*cking checks his god damn emails either!! And finally after all this wait, they decide to charge us $3000 for 20+ hours of work and some cheap pipes. I can do all that work by myself in less than 2 hours, but instead our building management forbids anyone but Catalano to touch their piping.
I tried to have them lower their prices, but nope. I tried calling my management since they have a contract with Catalano, but they told me what ever Catalano does, management can't help. These as*holes tends to always find a way to completely rip off their tenants and customers. F*ck it all, guess I waited 2 whole weeks for nothing, I ain't renovating my kitchen no more.
No heat in the house since Sunday before MLK holiday. Determined it was a cracked radiator in the basement which by now was flooded.Called several plumbing cos and am still waiting for their callback. On Tuesday around noon called Catalano to try and schedule appt. for early Wednesday. Young lady answering phone said she could make appt for the next day, but she would also make appt for later the same day. If they got a cancellation she would call & send plumber over.
Long story short, I first called company around noon. By 3:00 pm Gordon & Ray had come, cut off the old radiator and capped off the pipe, leaving us the option of replacing radiator at a future date. Price was extremely reasonable considering they had to work in a freezing cold room in two inches of water.
This is the second time I have used this company. Both times plumber(s) came quickly, assessed problem right away, and took care of it right promptly. I would definitely use them again.
