The company has potential. The tech who was sent out to look at the plumbing issue deserves 5 stars n more. He showed up on time, was courteous, like a really nice guy, assessed the issue immediately. If that's the type of person the company hired, they must have done something right. But let's move on to the next phase of trying to figure out why no one has bothered to communicate w me re next steps. There was a home warranty co involved, AHS, who has received its own review (baaaad), but i sorta expected a cool chat w the plumbing company dude, Kevin, about why no one's reached out to me weeks later. His quick response? "" Not my job"", when i asked about communication and follow up. Okay then. Here it is, 3 weeks later and i am still in the same situation, with a pot of water under the sink. Just bought this old house, and they could of had a lifetime customer, well, don't think that's happening now. Maybe they will read this and be helpful to you, dear reader.

For three years, I had a dripping faucet in my enclosed claw-foot tub. Different plumbers wanted to open a wall to repair it. Then, Lew appeared.

Rather than drilling a large hole in the wall, he cut out a piece of the wood enclosure - hidden by the toilet. Genius.

This establishment is the worst company for servicing plumbing. They are unprofessional and incapable of scheduling or following up on a work order. I recently scheduled an appointment and was told that they would be out between 8 -12 today and to my surprise when I called to confirm if they would be out today they said oh no the insurance put a halt on it. Once again the insurance called them and they changed there response and said that they stopped the job. This is this worst service anyone can give. I would've given them a zero if I could.

Castroville Plumbing has done good work for us before. It's just that I don't think people who provide an urgently needed service, like a dentist, should put all their calls on voicemail and be absent during entire holiday weekends. Come on! The postal carrier who brings me mail on Saturday doesn't give a darn if Monday is a holiday. I think our laziness in taking weekends and entire weeks for single day holidays is out of control. I don't know how our kids at school ever learn anything if half the school year has long holidays. Please put those poor answering service people to work more often.

Well I'm sorry have to rate them so poorly. My kitchen ceiling was drenched so I knew I had a plumbing problem. We have insurance and this company was assigned to us. It has been over two months and they still haven't finished the job. Paul returns no calls! It started out great but they ordered the wrong part ( or claim the wrong part was sent). After 4 service calls one part is still missing. Paul told me it finally came in, about three weeks ago and I never heard from him again! BTW I ordered the part on Amazon and got it in 1day just this week!

I've left vm messages and messages with the woman who answers the phone. What a disappointment. I guess if you are an insurance claim you're not lucrative enough for their checkbook. Beware Customers the service deteriorates with time.
