My realtor recommended Gus and Castle Plumbing to me. Gus was very professional and got the job done quickly and efficiently. After communicating with him a few times and sending pictures of the job (cracked drain pipe in the ceiling of my townhouse), he gave me an estimate. On the day of the job, he quickly appraised the situation, bought additional parts, repaired/ replaced the broken pipe and tested it. All the work was completed in under 90 minutes.

If I have any problems in the future, I will definitely be calling up Gus again!

T he service was ordered by Fidelity Home Warranty. My upstairs bathroom started leaking water to the downstairs ceiling last week and I called my home warranty. They sent the plumber here but they but didn't actually solve my problem and they didn't identify the actual root cause. They came in and looked at the shower head and said it's improper installation and told me it's not covered by the warranty. They suggested to use the shower head because it didn't seem to leak from there and left afterwards. But the same night when I used that shower head the leaking continued. This was very frustrating that all they care is whether it's covered by the home warranty or not, instead of helping you to fix the problem.

Maybe this is because the service was tied to Fidelity Home Warranty and maybe they could do a better job if we called them separately. I guess my recommendation is to be extra cautious when the service is via the home warranty.

Gus is one of the best plumbers that we found through our home warranty. He is very knowledgeable and fast, come in help me drain the leaking water heater and come back fix all our plumbing problems in no time. He answered or return phone quickly. He is a nice guy and done great work. We appreciate very much. Thank you Gus!

Gus is one of the best plumbers out there. Had an emergency water pipe broken and he came by really fast and took care of the business. No BS or excuses to charge you extra like these other companies. He charged accordingly and did an excellent job. I thought it was going to take him many hours. But nope. Castle Plumbing & Rooter Service recently dug up the dirt above the septic tank access ports at our home. Additionally, they installed risers at each of the access ports, since the much older redwood boxes at each septic access had deteriorated.

Javier and his crew were informative, efficient, and very professional. Scheduling an appointment was straightforward and they arrived right on time. Javier answered all of my questions, and was a pleasure to work with.

I've used Castle plumbing 3 times in the last year.

First time was a toilet repair - leak under the toilet. He replaced the wax seal. This was a home warranty job. Second time was to install new sink faucet / fixture - I've done this in the past but was happy with his rate to do it for me. Third time was to replace an old outdoor faucet that was constantly leaking.

Overall I'm happy with his work and the rates that he charged.

I bought Fidelity Home Warranty. When my water heater stopped working, my ticket assigned to Gus.
Gus came twice and replaced the water heater, also charged me $565 out of pocket cost. But there is no permit submitted to San jose city.
The water heater was installed 1 month ago, but no permit record.
When I call Home warranty, they said Gus will give me a call.
When I call Gus, nobody answer.
I have replaced a water heater 2 years ago for $1300 total cost with permit/city inspection.
Nover buy home warranty, they does not allow you to choose contractor. Plus you have to pay extra dollars without city permit/inspection.

I had an issue that needed to be resolved quickly. My clients had another plumbing company come out and they completely misdiagnosed an issue. I called Gus. He came to the house at 6:00 pm. He immediately put my client's mind at ease, quickly figured out a solution (which potentially saved my clients a tremendous amount of money, aggravation, and unneeded repairs). On top of all that, Gus is a very nice guy, very professional, and knows his business.
