Our hvac suddenly broke down in this heat wave, i texted him at 8pm and responded right away. He came at 7:30 in the morning, diagnosed/ordered parts and our ac is running smoothly again in less than 2 hrs. I hired him 2 years ago for a gas leak, he's straightforward, rates are fare and he's military veteran! I totally recommend their company!

Art is AMAZING!!! He is actually one of the best repair technicians (for anything) we've ever worked with! Very polite and kind! We're in Chula Vista and it's going to be a HOT weekend (in the 100s!) I had to get someone out today! Last night our AC sounded different. I got nervous about it breaking down because it's been so hot lately, so I turned it off. After calling 12 different businesses that advertise ""same-day service"", NONE were available. Then I tried Castillo Works, told them what was going on, and they asked what our address was. Before I gave them the address, I asked when they would be able to come and take a look at it (because two other companies I just called asked for our address then tried to schedule us a week out). Art said, as soon as he gets our address, he'll be ON HIS WAY!!! And he was! :) He was here shortly after our call and was able to tell us what was wrong within minutes! He gave me a quote (a very fair one at that!) and went to work - AND FIXED IT! We are SO happy with his service, we will call them back for all services they offer if or whenever we need them! We will also recommend them to our family and friends!!!

I recently had a problem with back up which started in my front yard but impacted one of my bathrooms. I called and Greg was the responding person. He was very professional and was quickly able to assess the problem and offered a quick solution. I'm glad he was the person able to help me. It was taken care of and I if I encounter another plumbi issue I know who to contact again! Thank you Greg!

Called Castillo for information on needed cartridge for shower faucet. Guy that answered quoted $350. When I told him my handyman, who moved to Texas, said it would be way less, he said ""then maybe he should come from Texas to fix"". I found that to be rude, curt and out of line. Surprising when all their reviews are so good. Perhaps it was just the ""gentleman"" that answered the phone. Have called elsewhere and prices are considerably less. They were the highest.

I called yesterday to have my garbage disposal replaced (which would have been an experiment in terror if I had tried it myself, certainly ending in a large mess, a puddle of tears, and a call to the plumber anyway) and Alex came out this morning. I will never use another plumber again. He was courteous, professional, clean, and very efficient. The price was exactly what was quoted. He even took the time out to answer some questions I had about my water heater. This was the single best experience I have had with any service I have had in my home. I would highly recommend this company - Alex in particular.

I had to get my leaky only 7 year old gas water heater replaced. Out of the blue I called Castillo Works and Art answered. Art and I talked a bit about what I wanted, his recommendation for a water heater at Lowes or Home Depot, pricing and scheduling. Conversing with Art gave me a good feeling so I said I will go buy a water heater now and call him back to schedule. As soon as I came back from Lowes, I called Art to schedule. I text him my address and he text me right back and said his plumber technician Greg will be coming. I contacted Greg and he arrived at about 1315. Greg was no less than outstanding. Courteous, interesting gentleman, super competent and skill. He obviously have changed out many many water heaters. He answered all my questions and concerns to the fullest. He was all done under 3 hours. My new water heater is working fantastically . A job well done. I highly recommend Castillo Works for anyones plumbing needs. I certainly will be calling these folks again.
