Bravo Zulu as we fondly say our appreciation in my military days to Castillo Works Plumbing! Once again, Ely Castillo and his team of professionals did a superb job in replacing the water heater in our Church. Art, one of his excellent plumber, showed extra special
Skill and craftiness when faced with a dilemma of installing a bigger water heater in a tight and smaller place. Instead of giving up and saying it's not going to work, he used his resourcefulness and know how in making revisions to the piping locations and even made it better installed than the original setup that was installed by the contractor when the chapel was constructed! So happy and contented with the way Castillo Works and Plumbing treat their customers and the excellent result of their works! Cannot say anything more for they complete what is lacking in this write up.

Castillo Works came up a couple years back when I wanted to install a tankless water heater for my home. They came by and did their thing, and we have been enjoying the tankless since. Fast forward almost 2yrs and I'm having problems w my shower going cold after 2 minutes. I call Ely and he comes by and diagnosed and corrected the problem within minutes on a Saturday! He did inform me that I need to run an additional gas line to prevent the issue from recurring, but it is refreshing to know that he was willing to talk to me about the issue and how to address it properly without having to spend a dime for his valuable time. It's nice to know they stand behind their work, thanks!

Art was amazing! I called them to have them come out STAT for what I thought was a gas leak and he did just that. Came quickly to assess the situation and assessed all the hoses. I came to Yelp about six months ago because I needed to repair a leaking gas shutoff valve to my gas log. It was a very involved repair that stretched over two days, I believe, but Ely stuck at it and ended up charging me pretty much what he said he would charge. Wonderful job, and I now have a gas log that works just fine.

Today he just left after another job, one that took him two-and-a-half days because of some complexities. He removed a standard gas heater tank and replaced it with a tank-less water heater. He also hooked up an utility sink in the garage, which was the primary reason for our wanting the tank-less water heater. This project involved attaching new pipes to very old pipes, which caused some problems. Along with the project itself because it involved quite a bit more than I thought it would when I asked him to do the job.

I should also add that the job was unfinished at the end of each of the first two full days. But the original water heater went away after the first few hours. No problem. Ely made sure we had hot water both nights.

I honestly do not know how many of these units Ely has installed, but watching the ease with which he went about his work, I have to believe the number is huge. But he did more than that. When he banged up my walls to some extent to run new piping he did the drywall repairs. And having done a bit of that work myself, I can honestly say he did a first-class job with the repairs. All that's left is to give it a coat of paint.

The one thing I most wanted when I went in search of a plumber is someone I can trust to do the work that needs to be done, to do it professionally, and to charge a fair rate for the work he does. And what is a fair rate? Well, it's not the cheapest guy in town. Chuck in a truck ain't gonna cut it.

I have already discussed several other jobs I need to have done in the near future, jobs I will ask Ely to do for me because I trust him. He's honest, and he is also very knowledgeable. In discussing my various options for a job with him, I also get a lot of information on why certain things are done a certain way. Thus armed, I can make more intelligent choices.

Ely is the real deal. I heartily recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

Yesterday I woke up to a leak in my garage from my water heater. I called Castillo plumbing at 0830 am and they were at my home within the hour assessed the problem and gave us a fair and reasonable total costs. They returned shortly after (around 12) to replace my water heater which took about 2-3 hours. Castillo plumbing handled this situation without stress to us as homeowners and very efficiently. This is my second time to work with Castillo Works Plumbing. Every time I have worked with them they have been prompt, respectful, fast, and very easy to work/correspond with. I will definitely work with them again for any needs in the future. I highly recommend this group.

Last Thursday morning around 6 a.m., I found out that our hot water is not working. I texted Ely around 7 a.m. and asked if he can send someone to check our water heater. After an hour he sent Art to our place. Our water heater is 11 years old and the warranty expired already. Ely called the manufacturer and inquired if they were able to get the parts but since we are out of warranty, the parts needed to fix the issue is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Since the parts and labor will equate to be the same as a new power vent water heater, Ely recommended to just replace the whole unit. That same day we got our water heater replaced. I admire the company's dependability and honesty. I always call them for almost all the repair problems in our home and I know I can always count on them Thank you Ely and Art and to the whole team of Castillo Plumbing Works! You guys are the BEST!

Ely to the rescue once again! Water Heater had given up (after 14 years) so I placed a call to Castillo Works and Ely picked up right away. We tried a few ""fixes"" over text but when none of them were the problem he came over and took a look. Time for a new one, as all my neighbors have been having to do as our homes were built in 2005. Got our brand new water heater installed, old one removed and left everything neat and tidy. Excellent experience as always!
