Very rapid response to my request. Robert came out and did an amazing job setting up a bypass for me to install a large whole house water softening system. He has years of experience in San Francisco doing commercial and residential. You can see his skill level and professionalism as he works. His pipe sweating looks seamless. He is intimately familiar with plumbing codes and knows what is required vs. what makes good sense to upgrade, from materials to workmanship. He is my first call for any custom plumbing needs.

Based on the excellent reviews I had seen for Castello Plumbing, and the fact they hydro-jet clogged French Drains, I hired them to clear what I suspected was a clogged French drain. I was quoted a flat rate that would include up to 3 hours of labor. Robert Castello proved to be punctual, hard-working, and knowledgeable. It took him more than 3 hours to clear two drain lines and the water collection boxes that connected to these lines, but I was only charged the flat rate that had been quoted. While performing the cleanout, he had inadvertently sprayed some water/mud on one of our cars. Before leaving he washed and dried that portion of the car! I would definitely contact Castello Plumbing for future plumbing needs.

Robert installed a new water heater for us 2 years ago. Unfortunately, we ran into a couple of random issues over that time. Each time, Robert came through and resolved the issues right away. Our pipes were making high-pitched noise whenever a faucet is turned on. Rober came out and checked our pressure regulator, and it seemed to be fine (and it was old so he didn't want to adjust it unless absolutely necessary because doing so could break it, and a replacement is expensive), so he drained the water to see if that would fix it by letting some sediments come out. He didn't charge us anything for that. But after he left, the noise came back and he came back a few days later and adjusted the regulator a bit, which did the trick. It's now been several days later, and the problem has not come back. He charged us $97 for the two trips he made and adjusting the regulator, and said if our regular ever finally break and needs replacement, we can call him and he'll replace it at the price he quoted us (which was significantly lower than all the other quotes I got from other places), and will subtract that $97 from it. Overall the impression he gave me was an upstanding guy who wouldn't try to overcharge you or nickle and dime you.

Robert does plumbing right. We've been having repeated leaks in the house and had several other plumbers make fixes in the last few months BUT...it took Robert to actually figure out the root cause: faulty pressure regulator which had our pressure over the limit. Things could have been a lot worse.
He has a very sharp eye for detail and will pick up things that might become problems later.

Robert Castello just installed a new water filter in our kitchen. Went perfect. While he was here, I noted another plumbing issue that we were experiencing, which he resolved as well, having the parts right in his truck.

Working with Robert, you get a sense of his both his workmanship and high values. You won't be working with a company; you will be working with a person - and a competent plumber at that!

We have used them twice and he is efficient, helpful and pleasant to work with. However, we called for a water heater issue and booked out until Monday and it's Thursday. I guess the emergency service isn't really the case.
