While I was happy with the technicians work and the installation of the new unit, I did explain from the beginning I was working with a warranty company on the repair of my unit. The tech noted that the repair of my unit was going to be very expensive, so much so that the new unit seemed like the best option. When it came time to deal with the warranty company they asked for an itemized bill with part numbers for the repair even though we went with the new unit. I explained the situation to Casteel several times and have yet to get this from them. This is such a small ask and they received full payment from me directly on time. You would think this would just be another way to excel with the client and an added value. Sadly, this is where I was let down. The little things do matter and I should not have to call and email multiple times for weeks on end to try and resolve this with you.

I scheduled an appointment for 09/12/2023. Casteel contacted me for rescheduling of before the 09/12/2023 date. i rescheduled for today 9/08/2023. The Tech arrived at my home, went to the termostat. In opening the termostat, he pull outward instead of pushing upward. This disconnected wiring making the termostat inoperable. This termostat has been in my residence over 5 years operating fine. The battery holder for the termostat is a little longer than 2 AA batteries, so from the input of the termostat there has been a small piece of aluminum foil filling the space for battery conduction and making termostat operative. The Tech insisted that the termostat was not working. I stated to him that it has worked the years, and at time that Casteel has come out to perform A/c and Heater Tune-up. also, it was working up until pulled and disconnected the wiring. the Tech and I came to an impass. So I call Casteel, the Tech's Supervisor as usual agreed with Tech, and ask me if I would the Tech removed from residence and send another Tech out I opted for sending another Tech. So now, in the interum, the termostat is not working, Air and /or Heat can not be regulated in the house. Not at all happy with Casteel........

When our dryer 'died' last week, we checked our home's power panel and saw that the dedicated circuit breaker had shut off, but when we tried to switch it back into the 'on' position, the breaker 'action' seemed soft. Inside the dry were a set of set sheets. So, we did a quick search of the web for electricians that served the Loganville area and found Castell. We couldn't have been more please by the response. Geoffrey Adams came to our house and replaced the breaker. While doing this task, he felt that the main line coming into the house was very warm to the touch. My husband and I discussed this finding with him and I told him that when I used my Dyson vacuum cleaner, some of the overhead lights in our living room would flicker. Geoff said flickering is a prime 'symptom' when electric panels are outliving their usefulness and safety. So, we made the decision to make an additional appointment for him to come back and replace the whole panel. Finally, we own the house next door, and it too has/had a 26 year old panel. Since safety is very important, we made a joint appointment for Geoff and his team mate Alex to come on the same day and do each house. They were careful, polite, and stayed. until the jobs were done. The lights in each house no longer flicker and I am back to washing and drying our clothing. We will depend on Casteel as our electricians for all future needs. Great job! Marlena W.

Avoid! They charge predatory prices. I needed my faucet replaced and the sum was $1000 and some change. I did it myself for less $150 bucks.

My AC was not cooling so I called and asked them to come check. Tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He said I had a bad capacitor but was not sure that was all that was wrong. He quoted over $400 just for the capacitor. Unit is 10 years old and I questioned spending that large amount when he indicated there could be more problems, in the range of $3000-$6000. I declined the repair and bought the part at Grainger for $23 and installed myself. While it did fix the initial problem, it was still not cooling. I fully understand paying for the technical knowledge of labor, overhead, etc. to have them do the capacitor, but $400+ for what I did for $23 and less than 10 min. seems disrepectful. Since it was still not cooling, I called another company to check the unit and they tightened a pipefitting and added less than 1 lb of freon for $150. I did not feel I would have recieved value I deserved if I had stayed with Casteel.

They installed my new HVAC today! I cannot be more happier! My old one was on it's way out. Everyone from the customer service reps, to the design consultants, to the techs were all more than professional & did very thorough job! I'll definitely use them again when I purchase my next home! Thanks Casteel!

They offered to accept a post-dated check in lieu of immediate payment. They then processed the check without warning. Not only does this mean that my account is massively overdrawn, meaning fees and frustrations, this also means I currently have no money until my paycheck (which is when I post dated the check, because I knew I would have the funds then). This also means all the other bills I have coming out of that account in the meantime won't be paid. Why would you offer that option if you knew you were going to process it anyway? Or at least let me know you were going to so I could prepare in some way! This whole process has been a massive headache and I don't see ever using them again or referring them to anyone. Also, don't bother calling them, your call will be dropped every time they transfer you.
