I called today to schedule service on a mower. The man that answered the phone put me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up called again and got placed on hold for another 3. Finally I hung up and called back an hour later. The response was ""we can't take any more work on right now call next year."" No questions, no help just rude.
Glad I had a terrible experience up front so I could go somewhere else.
Tom put in a generator for my 91 year old father. He and everyone associated with the quoting, purchase, and installation treated him with so much respect and honestly just did business the right way. They took the time to explain everything, took all calls and questions (he had a lot!) and the whole experience was more than we could have asked for. You just don't see companies who do business like this much anymore and I had to give a huge shout out to the. Thanks to Tom and all at Cason's for how you operate and treat your customers. Couldn't be any happier.
Nick N.They picked up and delivered my sit down craftsman lawn mower in North reading. The fee was 75.00 for North reading as there buissness is in Lowell. I found this ace through Yelp and I'm glad I did! They tuned my mower up and replaced parts that where broken or needed it.
When I got home from work the other day I went right to the mower,started it and went right to work. They did a awesome job fixing it and tuning it up.

told i need my generator back by jan 12 for a aunt coming here with medical isuses i need it if a power outage gave date for dec 13 never look at generator. told them on jan2 i need it back and want it back fixed or not by jan 5 i could use it that way it still was running said snowblower came before generators did not tell my that at the time i sent it out for service. i see a lot of peopel here are getting same results owner told me call back on wed ask for him see if he get it back fixed or not by fri jan 5
How to turn a miscommunication into a customer? Ask Cason's Equipment. My wife called them to service our generator. With an approaching storm, a service technician came to our home far faster than the target one week date (but my wife not knowing this rapid response policy for generators not working) already called another dealer who performed maintenance on the unit the very same day. The owner, with a long term view towards serving their customers acknowledged the potential disconnect and waived the service call. I, however, still paid for the service portion because they did their job as they understood their directive to do. Now this is old world reliable service and a company I will call for future service . By the way, the generator was examined and faults corrected perfectly.
Jay D.Went in today with a flat tire for my walk behind mower -- called at 11:30 hoping to get it back today (Cason's closes at 2PM), and Alex told me to bring it in .... no promises, but he'd see what he could. Told me to come back at 1:45 and it would be done, and it WAS. Hard to get good customer service like this in this day and age -- Cason's has a new customer !
Susan B.They recently fixed my snowblower and were so easy to deal with. The pick-up and bring back is so convenient as who can lift a 26"" machine or even have a vehicle big enough to hold it. The price was also reasonable. Today when I really needed my snowblower, it started right up.
In prior years, I've had very good service experiences with Cason's. However, I recently sent my snowblower in six weeks ago for a pre- season tube-up.
Two weeks ago, I called for a service completion update. At that time, I was told the service would be completed ""... this week or next week"". Well, here it is two weeks later, I still don't have my snowblower back.
When I called today, I was told it would ""probably be another couple of weeks"" and when I asked if the snowblower could just be returned to me because of the long service delay, they refused to do so because they were ""over-committed"".
Like any other customer, I didn't appreciate being lied to when I called two weeks ago. In addition, the lack of a management handle on reliably scheduling service completion is very disturbing.
Kelley S.My husband and I bought a new generac generator 10 KW. We had it installed nov 2013. We have tried to get a service call (Yes we paid for a service contract) due to the wireless remote flashing red (contact dealer). It's been 5 days and all we get is the run a round and now they are saying not till next week maybe. I sure hope we don't lose power this weekend with more snow, wind and bitter cold. Needless to say we will be giving our business to someone else. Poor customer service!!!
Donna M.If you have power equipment that needs service, this IS the place for you. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and willing to do what is necessary to help you. The new showroom is clean and bright with all models of outdoor power equipment on display. Had a problem with my Lawn tractor and the staff diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. Their prices are reasonable and they are not out to rip you off. Highly recommend Cason's.
