Cary took $1100 from us and didn't complete the work. we spent 5 weeks chasing him down and he delayed our project by non performing. He kept promising to do the work but he didn't and eventually we were forced to fire him.

I had to replace a toilet and, skilled plumber Kevin came and did a great job! The bathroom was a really tight space and hard to maneuver. Kevin did a great job taking out the old bathtub and putting in a new one.

I was watching him work (like a real life YouTube video) you can really see, he knows his stuff!

Called to repair the sensor on our home sprinkler system which was triggering alarms. He confirmed he would be out first thing the next morning. Next day no show, no message. Called to see what happened - no acknowledgment of no show - just send me pictures to see if I have the part to fix it which I sent to him. After 4 days, no response. I would normally be put off immediately by his phone manners, but it was right before Christmas with a houseful of people. Fortunately there wasn't a problem with alarm going off or unexpected showering of our guests. Life is too short for this attitude - go elsewhere.

Cary Wing Plumbing and Fire Protection Inc. is as bad as it gets. My Landlord was subjected to unessary work bills (according to LL), late show up's and shoddy workmanship seen first hand. I'm sick of hearing complaints/yelling to TBH. There is also some concern over his work permits still going on that may end in the court system. I could hear him (owner) and my landlord in the hallways yelling and screaming throughout the job which was a nightmare for all the tenants of this building. His work and the sprinkler system is still not working properly. Basically, this company is seems too small to do work on a regular basis. He shows up whenever he see's fit to show up and haphazardly attempts to finish a job. This is my feedback, first hand, where I live as a tenant. Feel free to do your own homework but I can provide pictures and can also answer an email (via yelp) if you have question(s).

Came home to a leaky fire sprinkler that ruined our carpet and wooden floor ! Called Cary after trying a bunch of others. No one was licensed/insured/willing to work on fire sprinklers. Cary came in within the hour and fixed the leak quickly. Happy with the service he provided.

In my experience, I found him to be very conscientious, thoughtful and diligent.
He was always willing to find solutions to plumbing challenges and did so with great skill.
In terms of fees for services, I found them to be commensurate with his skill set.

I would not hesitate to use him again.

I wouldn't use this guy again if my life depended on it. A thief and a liar. First, some qualifiers - I use construction vendors constantly, as I manage many rental units throughout the Bay Area. I'm typically willing to allow for delays, unforeseen circumstances, and the occasional oversight.

This guy lied to my mom, charged her for repairs that were not completed, and refused to refund her payment. I subsequently called to calmly work out the problem with him - after enduring him yelling and screaming at me, I decided enough is enough.

I rarely submit negative reviews because everyone (no matter their skill level) deserves to make a living. But a liar, and thief and a cheat do not.

Don't use Cary Wing Plumbing. You've been warned, as will the Contractor's License Board.

Just a quick recommendation for those looking for a plumber, we used Cary Wing plumbing this past year for our kitchen remodel. He cost was approximately 30% less than the nearest competitive bid (our ranges was $2,200-6,000) and he was probably the best part of our process. He was fast, on budget, diligent and had two good workers.

Be advised, this is a very small plumbing outfit that has hasn't quite figured out ""customer service"". If you don't have a problem with that then you are in good shape.

My second choice was also great but more expensive...George Salet plumbing.
