I see carters plumbing truck around my area ...well give it a try cause my kitchen pike got clogged ,first appointment for service call $85 it's okay when he come ..he name Matt...he said if he using snake drain it's will cost $334.60 and he needs me to sign on he iPads..no choice...after few minutes try he can't run further than 10 feet..then he gave me two options..1 tear off my cabinet so he has a change to get close to the pike...2 he will go to the roof to run different machines to fix the problem..and I have to sign again and the cost to run different machines is $719.83..what the hell??..I think they took advantage that we need to fixing the problem be we don't have a choice ??.. I picked 2 options and I think the cost to repair is $719.83 ...but it not..total the bill is $719.83+$334.60= $1054.43...So upset an disappointed but I have to pay..I think they should remove $334.60 because he gave up for the first try..I call for the carrers plumbing office to complain but they manager just give me 10% off the bill ?? The reason I wrote this complaint because I don't want anyone else get stuck with this company like me..???

Called them back to repair a leaky valve for the main water line feeding a sprinkler system that they ""fixed"" last year. Even though it was the same valve as last year, the tech said it was not legal, and wanted to charge us $5000 to redo the job, replacing the current copper pipes with pvc. Also quoted $450 to replace an existing kitchen faucet. The whole ordeal Felt very predatory - caution others to watch for schemes!
Paid the $90 service call fee and sent them away with no work done.

I spent $600, with Carter's Plumbing, to fix an issue that returned in a couple of days. I had a different plumber come out, she got on the roof and cleared the line for $250 and the problem hasn't returned. I would never use Carter's Plumbing again

They came out for a service call, charging $90, for a blocked drain in our basement walkout area. We were not home when the technician came out so he called us to tell us that he snaked it 50ft and it was blocked. He said the only way to know what was going on would be to dig up the concrete and hydroblast the piping. The estimate was $3600. So we said we would think about it.
So we had another company come out to dig up the concrete and they found no drain. Just a bucket with holes in it. They installed a sump pump for us with no issues.
So I called Carter plumbing back because clearly the tech lied to us about snaking it 50ft because there was no drain. The man I spoke to was rude and condescending and would not acknowledge that his tech lied to us. He actually said he must have snaked into the wet ground around the bucket. Ok?!?! There were only very small holes in the bucket. He didn't do anything and wanted to charge us $3600 to do the same thing.
When I asked this manager if he was actually not going to admit that his technician lied to me and not return my $90 he made up another worthless excuse.
They are untrustworthy and just want your money. Go anywhere else.

We hired Carter's Plumbing to replace our sprinkler pipes on the side of our house. They replaced the pipes in the summer of 2022. A couple weeks later, we noticed some parts on the replacement were not screwed down all the way. We sent pictures of the questionable replacement work to the plumber, Cody.
Now it is spring of 2023 and the new replacement is leaking and needs repairs. After spending 1400 dollars a few months ago, we now have to spends hundreds more to fix their work. Of course Carters Plumbing is not willing to make any concessions for their shoddy work, rather they place blame on Cody, who no longer works for them. The only good thing about this company is their response time. Other than that, DO NOT USE CARTERS PLUMBING!

Way way too expensive. I got a quote for a 1/3 hp garbage disposal from Lowes for $350. Part and installation. Then I called Carter's Big mistake. When I called Carter's they would not even give me a ballpark quote. Sad part is I know the scam. Being as stupid as I am I said sure come on out. This sawed off little weasel showed up and after 30 seconds says ""$500"". For a garbage disposal. I make good money won't lie but I don't appreciate getting ripped off. I made a bad decision and said go ahead. My bad. I'm busy and keep thinking that scumbags are not out there ripping people off. Learn from my mistakes. Avoid this money trap Carter's. FY Carter. We are not done.

Had an appointment for some work after waiting a week for my time....they showed up and said they didn't have time to do the work but gave me a big estimate and charged me $90 for the estimate what happened to my appt to fix??? I went to home depot spent under $5 and fixed the $4,000 invoice and upset over having to pay what a scam. Fix it yourself this place makes money off of estimates and not keeping appointments.

If I could leave a zero review I would. Beware of this company they charge $89 to come out but tell you if they get the job they will waive the $89. This is a rip off their prices are more than double of any other estimates we received. They wanted $1,300 just to put in a faucet!

Main drain needed to be snaked. Very inexperienced person came out -was clueless. Tried to charge $389. Hugely disappointed. Will never use again. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

I only had a gas shut off valve installed for an appliance we are installing. The pluming company who I had hired previously refused to come because this was a small job. They were originally supposed to come Wednesday but receptionist called Tuesday checking with us and stating that they can come out a day early. The same dispatcher called twice or three times, giving me updates such as which slot # I am in or that plumber is on his way. Had the pleasure of having Derrick do the job. He was friendly and professional from the beginning. Thank you.
