We contacted Carter Plumbing on short notice when our basement sump pump quit working the night before. Their guys showed up on time and had everything on their truck, including a new pump, to complete the repair in one visit. While replacing the pump they also modified the plumbing to eliminate a pipe purging problem we were having when the sump pump was in operation. We didn't even have to ask. The company is reliable and their personnel know what they are doing. No pandemic excuses, no delays, no shortages. Carter was prepared and got the job done.

Not impressed. I have heard good things about Cater Plumbing in the past.
I call to have them come out and snake a clogged pipe. I was informed they would check with their crew and get back to me. Never received a callback and I left multiple voice mails. Communication is so important and Carter Plumbing lacks in this department. Went with another Plumbing Company out of Walla Walla. I would avoid using Carter Plumbing.

I had a terrible experience with this company.
I had called in advance to find out how much they charged per hour and was given the quote of $75/hour.
The work itself was fine ... they came out quickly and got the job done in about 20 minutes.
A couple of weeks went by and then I received their invoice which said I owed over $100. I called to find out why the charge was so much higher and I was told that they would have to pull ""the ticket"" to find out and they would call me back.
A month and no phone call later, I receive another invoice in the mail, this time with a late charge. I again called, told them my story again, reminded them that they never called me back ... and I was told they needed to look at the ticket and they would get back to me.
A month later ... same thing. More late charges, more phone calls by me, no return calls from them.
By the fourth late notice, I was getting quite irritated and called AGAIN, requesting the information and gave them ALL of my contact information. Still .... no phone call back.
A week after that, I received a letter from their attorney stating that I needed to pay the bill that was now over $120.
Needless to say, I was irate by this point. I called Carter's one last time and asked to talk to whoever was in charge and whoever could deal with a very upset customer. After a couple of minutes on the phone, the young lady who was helping me seemed to shrug off the incident by saying she had sent a different invoice ""days"" ago for a lesser amount ($87.50) and that their attorney sends out late notices to all past due customers.
When I asked AGAIN why this all happened and why we were charged so much the first time ... well, she didn't really have an answer.

As far as work goes ... they're fine. Customer service in the reason I'm giving them such a low rating.
