No education. No training. No certifications.

Just some old school plumbing knowledge. They may be ok to fix a leaking valve, but I certainly would not take my chances with them doing any HVAC work. Here is what happened. We had an issue with a high efficiency condensing combi boiler. Went to google maps and found them there. Called the office and got a dispatcher/receptionist on the phone. I believe the name was Lauren. Asked if they specifically had expertise with a particular brand and model. She said: ""of course"". Asked her again and she assured that indeed that was the case. In retrospect, I guess I should have asked for evidence. Surely enough when the plumber arrived his lack of training became apparent immediately. When asked if he knew that particular brand he responded with: ""all the boilers are the same and they all work the same way. We are trained in EVERYTHING"". He, of course had no clue where to even start troubleshooting, so the meeting was short. Yet they ended up charging us $100 for the visit. At this point we are looking for the real HVAC tech who can actually fix the problem.
