Recommended Customer Reviews

Chris has been our plumber for around 15 years for both our residence and our rental. They are both older homes with older plumbing.
Chris thru the years has been amazing to work with. Excellent plumber with amazing detective skills which only comes with years of experience!
A pleasure to work with, trustworthy and an amazing plumber!
Doesn't get any better in my opinion!

5-star service from Chris!! I texted him a photo of our upstairs neighbor's leak problem and he immediately provided breakdown of price quotes for various fixes depending on the source of the leak. He was super responsive, organized, and accommodating. He charged exactly as quoted and even replaced a shower head as a preventive measure for no charge. His work is very clean and his rates are affordable. He is also very nice and easy to work with. Amazing service - thank you Chris!

Chris is very good with responding to calls promptly and has fair quotes. I've been calling him for at least four years and he has always done a great job with all kinds of problems and installation.

I called this business and left a message about getting my garbage disposal fixed. I got a call back from the owner, Chris, within the hour! He gave me two quotes: one for cleaning and one for a replacement (should he have to go that route). He was able to fit me in first thing the following day! Chris arrived on time, was able to clean my disposal quickly and I paid the exact price I was quoted the day before. Highly recommend!

My go to plumber! Responds quickly and does excellent work. Has installed a recirculating pump, kitchen sink, and several faucets. Gladly recommend!

Amazing job, clearly knows what he is doing. He really tried to get everything done as efficiently as possible. I'm definitely calling him up when we're remodeling out kitchen.

My first plumbing issue was a shower and sink that needed stronger flow. I called 5 places with slick offices and secretaries but they didn't know exactly when a contractor would arrive. For Carsten I left a message but was pleasantly surprised when the actual plumber got back to me in just 30 minutes. Anyway, Chris arrived, diagnosed a silted up cartridge and faucet, cleared out the faucet himself and offered to replace the cartridge or just write down the part for me to buy and save $$. Less than an hour later I installed the cartridge and had a full pressure shower and faucet. Very cool.
Next time in summer Chris was harder to schedule due to the busy season. I had a mystery ceiling leak. Again I called many other outfits and they wanted to send someone to give an estimate for $175 ""service call fee"" without actually fixing the problem. One even silently gave all my contact info to an immigrante guy with a ""water moisture detector"" who would somehow diagnose the leak remotely with his glorified dowsing rod.
Anyway, I had to wait to get Chris again but he applied his experience, taking measurements etc and finally making a cut through cabinet ceiling to diagnose the issue definitively to corrosion in a drain line. Good stuff.
Chris fixed the drain and best of all no unnecessary cuts or repairs were made to diagnose the leak. Well done.

After the last plumbing experience we suffered though, my wife and I joked that I should have gone into plumbing as a profession. The money that we have spent on making necessary repairs on our 75 year old home has been a wild ride.
Having felt like we got 'raked over the coals' by some of the larger Plumbing companies that make up the Portland Metro Plumbing Empire, I was bound and determined to find someone who, like me, is a small business owner & a craftsman.
I embarked on a toilet replacement (a job I've done many times). It seemed like I would be able to just get it done, make my wife happy, and save us oodles of cash.
Sometimes life decides to f*ck that plan up.
Okay, the plan didn't go smoothly. I tried to find a 'repair' solution at the home improvement store. Embarked on that 'backup plan' only to find that I was f*cked there too...
So, now we have no toilet and I'm grumpy & groaning & using all kinds of expletives.
Deep breaths.
Sigh.
Time to call a plumber.
I did some internet searching in some new places and for once, found an actual benefit to being on 'Nextdoor' - having the ability to search for local businesses that are recommended by my neighbors. Yay! Nextdoor was helping me rather than adding to a chorus of disappointing, narrow-minded, whiny, entitled, affluent people waving the 'Not In My Back Yard' flags high...
Chris (CPR Plumbing) came up several times and after perusing his website, I gave him a call.
Thinking that he must be booked solid, I prepared for the worst.
Chris listened to me, understood the situation, and then said ""The soonest I could come out is tomorrow morning"".
Heck YEAH!
Chris arrived exactly when he said he would arrive (which automatically wins major points in my book). We looked at the problem, he listened attentively, assessed the situation and confidently told me that he'll fix it and get the new toilet installed.
He gave me a rundown on his fees and estimated that he'd be done in an hour.
Chris finished the job within the hour, his work was impeccable, and it cost me way less than I had ever expected.
I've found a plumber who is fantastic and while the selfish part of me hates to share this gem, the business owner in me wants to yell it from the rooftops. So there you go, give CPR Plumbing a call when you've needing help navigating rough waters!

Chris is a very reliable person. His work and his service is top of the line. I had an experience with him fixing leaks at my house. His quote is very reasonable and his schedule is very punctual.
I would like to recommend him to anybody needs a plumber.

This fella is fantastic. Had a plumbing emergency, read his reviews and gave him a call. Not only did he move things around so he could come right over but he charged a VERY fair fee. Competent, Courteous and Professional. I wish more people ran their business like Mr Carsten. I won't hesitate to refer him and use him in the future!
