I found Pax on yelp and decided to give him a call based on his high rating, and yelp did not disappoint. He lived up to his rating. We had a leak in our basement and I did not know where it was coming from so I called Pax and he came out that same day to look at it. He determined that it was coming from our water heater. He found a replacement heater and was back the next day to install it. He was very professional and did a great job!

My toilet was leaking and after making it worse when I tried to fix it, I desperately called plumbers to come ASAP. Carrera's was the only business that could offer same day service. Paxton said he would arrive in 1 hour, and sure enough, he was true to his word. He was able to fix my toilet, replace the necessary parts, which he already had with him, and was out the door in 30 minutes. Cost was $110 total. I am very pleased and will definitely be a repeat customer.

I was referred to Carrera's Plumbing by another plumber that i called. Pax came to my home within the hour. He corrected to leak under the sink in my bathroom in 15 min. and the cost was fair, under 100.00 bucks. He was courteous and professional. a definite quality guy:) I will keep his card handy for sure.

Wow!
After getting an $1,220 estimate from highly rated Angies List Plumber, Southland Plumbing (see my review there), I called Craig's Plumbing, also highly rated.
Craig was swamped, and referred me to Paxton at Carrerra's Plumbing.
What a GREAT referral, (thanks Craig!).
Paxton returned my voicemail promptly, and was available as early as 6 AM the next morning.
He arrived promptly at 6 AM, evaluated the situation, listened to my analysis, and after a few minutes of testing the water flow between toilet, sink, and tub, determined where the blockage was.
He used his heavy duty snake to unclog the blockage, through the sink, as the overflow drain design on the tub prevented using it.
Voila! within two minutes, Paxton reeled in his snake with the guilty hairball, and testing the drain gave him the sound he said plumbers love to hear, the sucking sound of water going down the drain.
In addition, Pax, at no extra charge, checked my handiwork in the crawlspace, where I had detached the J-trap, and snaked myself, to no avail, to ensure there were no leaks. (there weren't, but he pointed out that there was a gap in the tub overflow drain where water was dripping.
Finally, and also at no charge, Paxton investigated the leak on my hot water handle of my pedestal sink. Unfortunately, the fixture had been attached to the sink prior to placing it against the wall, and Paxton was unable to remove it without taking the entire sink out.
BOTTOM LINE... I have a new plumber...

They are fast and efficient, and most importantly their rates are fair. 2 pipes and 3 checks (our water heater and sinks) only costed $110. I called them after I called several plumbing company and failed to get anyone to come promptly. I called them, they quickly set up a time, and came early in the morning. I'll recommend them to my friends

Carrera's Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend after I waited 10 days to have my water heater fixed by a horrible company! I called Pax at 6pm and by 930am the next morning I had a brand new working water heater, and he saved me 350$. Paxton was quick, efficient, and doesn't try and rip you off. By the reviews on here you can tell he's mostly word of mouth and I would highly recommend him.

My garbage disposal stopped working and was backing up into my dishwasher. I called up Carrera's and Paxton answered the phone. He was over in 10 minutes and had the problem figured out. He was extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend them to everyone.

I was referred to Carrera's by another plumber who had a full schedule. I had a pipe that was leaking under my concrete patio. Pax was honest telling me the least expensive way to fix it and also telling me what would be necessary for the larger fix. I appreciated that he gave me options. He also snaked a drain for me - one from my washer that was backing up. Overall he seemed honest, was on time and fixed my problems. His prices seemed fair or in line with what I have paid in the past. One thing I did not like is that he did not seem to have set prices- he sort of just pulled them out of the air. Also I told him that I had the yelp coupon at the end and he seemed a bit put off by this - telling me that the price he quoted was before he knew I had the coupon. I get it - he would have charged me more if he knew I had the coupon but that isn't what the coupon is for. So that is the only thing I didn't like. Otherwise he was pretty good.

Drip in my kitchen faucet driving me nutz and finally had to call it in. Had an expectation of what I was going to wind up paying and it seemed to fall in line. Paxton answered the phone when I called. We made the appointment for next day and he showed up on time. Diagnosed the problem and shared it with me so I understood. He had to run to the store to pick up the part since it was a specialty faucet. Came right back, installed. Done and fixed.
Not sure it could have gone any better. Highly recommend.

I really can't say enough good things about Paxton. Friendly, efficient, knowledgable, and very professional. Helped me out in a jam multiple times and is now our go to guy for all our plumbing needs. Very highly recommended!
