We had several things to fix at our house, clogged drainpipes, kitchen faucet & sink, outside spigot, etc. Justin from J Carr Plumbing arrived exactly as scheduled and did a spectacular job. Justin did not waist time, he got right to it, very friendly and professional. The cost was very fair. They were highly recommended to me and now I will highly recommend them to everyone. Had a tech, Joe H, come out on Memorial Day Sunday. He was in a great mood and very professional. Didn't mind working the weekends from what I could tell; top notch fellow. He worked with me to unclog a main line, asked a few questions after some investigation (I have 2 big dogs so he wasn't able to come in and out of the house). Using my information, he did his thing from the roof and got the problem solved. The prices were a bit higher since it was a holiday weekend, which I expected since no other companies were on call. Joe was very up front about the price and I ended up paying exactly what he quoted me on the initial phone call. No issues whatsoever on my end. Extremely happy I can use the toilets for my Memorial Day party! I saw some negative feedback on here before I called, but I always take Yelp reviews with a grain of salt as this site tends to attract complainers ;) R Carr is A-OK in my book and I'd use them again without hesitation. Don't waste your time. These guys came out and looked at the work, agreed to do it on a set date then blew me off. No call, nothing. I call them, twice. No return call. Nothing. At least call me and say you are too busy for only a couple thousand dollars worth of work. They gave zero fucks, if I could give zero stars I would.. I did get a call back today, too late...

I called to get an estimate on 2/1/19, called again on 2/13/2019 to see why no return from Walt as the lady said he was the one to call. She promised a call the next day. On 2/18/2019 still not the first call from this guy named Walt. Waited 18 days for a call, the lady on the phone seemed not to care one way or the other. Looks like I am better going with someone else. What a way to run a business.

This company was referred to me by my electrician (Tardiff electric in Dunedin). Very very pleased with the service and the work done. It is nice to deal with nice people who not only know what they are doing, but are also pleasant to deal with. I will certainly retain their services next time I need a plumber. I have no idea why this company doesn't have more reviews. I've used R Carr Plumbing since relocating to Clearwater from Miami in 1982. There is no reason to call anyone else. Prompt, courteous, honest and always a fair price. Always fixed right the first time!!!

OK...so we have had 5 slab leaks in less then 7 months and yes, a great company always found the leaks.......drilling through our tile/hardwood floor under the slab each and every time. Then we got our regular plumber, good guy to fix the leaks. And yes, we had a great contractor to repair the floor. $1,000 out of pocket each time. The 6rh leak, the expert leak detector said he would not drill through the travertine bathroom floor....until I researched an alternative plan. He said, research slab leaks on the web and then contract with a good company to repipe your home (8,000 sq feet with 5 bathrooms). 5 estimates and 3 weeks later we chose R Carr Plumbing. They were NOT the least expensive or the most expensive but Greg their rep, seemed to have all the right answers w/o just trying to get us to sign.He made us feel special and took the time to explain every thing that would be happening. The clincher was talking to Rodney, the owner...fantastic man that really seem to care about who he sends to each and every home. A week later we chose R Carr The following week, 2 of the best techs that ever set foot in our home arrived at 8 AM ready to work. They worked every day till 3 PM (when the attic got over 110 degrees), w/o taking breaks, lunch or sitting around. 8 business days later, they still showed up at 8 AM, was so very careful about everything in our home,cleaned up after themselves every day , treated us like """"real people"""" and not just another job. If I could give Wally & Dr J 10 stars I would....best guys ever that did work in our home. Over the top as Greg was. They did exactly what Greg indicated....over the top! Finished the job , and get this, 3 days later then the estimate indicated but did not try to charge me even $1.00 more.....now that's one fantastic owner that does the job the right way. And if they, do this big job like this I can only imagine how they feel about a small plumbing job. For me, there is no better company anywhere. A huge thanks, for leaving our home just as clean as you found it the very first day. Wally, Dr J and Craig can knock on our door for a cold drink anytime.
