even came back the next day.We have used this company two
times.Last one was to install a hot water heater.Again no
complaints.Very pleased with their service.

I wish I would of read these two reviews before calling Carolina's Finest Plumbing (CFP). This company is shady, over priced and poor customer service follow up. I had a water leak from my water heater in the garage with easy access and had called CFP thinking it was REA Brothers, but apparently they are no longer in business so I had requested for a CFP technician to come out to my home and was advised that there would be a $79.00 dispatch fee and that the tech would be at my house between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Well it was after 5:00pm and I had to call to find out if the tech was still coming and they said he would be there shortly.
When the tech (Cyrus) finally arrived and took one look at the water heater and immediately said that the water heater needed to be replaced with no thorough inspection and gave me an estimate between $1700.00 - $2200.00 for a new 40 gallon standard gas water heater and to bring it up to code. I paid the dispatch fee and Cyrus let me know that I would someone would follow up the next morning, but no one called me back.
I made a call to another plumber (Giles Plumbing) and they came out same day with no dispatch fee and they said that I didn't even need a new water heater and that I just needed to replace one of the hoses. And they quoted me $1200.00 - $1300.00 for a new water heater. I had a friend come over and we replaced the hose that was leaking and guess what no more leaks! I called CFP to let them know what happened and to see if they would be willing to reimburse me for the dispatch fee and I was told that I would need a fax copy of an invoice from the other plumbing company otherwise they wouldn't be able to. Well I had no invoice from Giles Plumbing because they didn't do any work. I guess CFP makes a living on dispatch fees. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Is there a way to give this scam artist a ""zero star"" rating?

Two days after posting, my toilet quit working. Since I already overpaid to have it fixed I call them to come back out to do what should have already been done. Mark, the owner, arrived in a foul mood, replaced $70 worth of parts, which he agreed the tech should have done on first visit. He then hands me a bill for $275 for the 20mins worth of work. I stated that removing the toilet for $200 without asking was wrong and charging me for his visit today was wrong. He agrees somewhat, states he needs to discuss with the tech, review the previous $620 bill and he will call me in couple days to let me know what he can do.

That was six+ weeks ago. I've sent a dozen emails, left messages and have yet to receive a reply. So, Mark has apparently lied to me on many fronts. This is a shady business run by a shady businessman. Call anyone else but this outfit to fix your problem.

As a builder in Charlotte and having renovated well over 50 homes in The area I can tell you I have never been more impressed with a company. Finding quality, honest, and service oriented plumbers is very difficult. Carolinas finest has gone above and beyond for me. They have showed up within hours in the middle of the night to address a plumbing concern unexpectedly. I have tons of respect for how this business is run with the utmost professionalism and integrity. Call them you won't regret it.

I will say that they are all polite. That being said, they are WAY overpriced and NOT worth your time/money. You can do much better for a lower cost is South Charlotte. I was told that I would have to pay a ""dispatch fee"" if they came out to my house. I was ok with that, but the plumber looked at my water heater, pushed a button and said for the service, it will be an extra $85 on top of the $59 ""dispatch fee"". All in all, I paid $144 for 7 minutes of their time, a button to be pushed, and a magnet. They were very polite, but truly NOT WORTH IT.
