Wonderful business they take great care in helping you. Had service tech Brandon out Friday evening after hours and he was wonderful he got us up and running again and stayed to make sure air was running through the house and he was very professional. On Thursday I had a backedup sink and garbage disposal. I read all the comments on the plumbing pages and decided to use Carolina Cool. I saw a lot of people in this neighborhood use them, so decided to try Carolina Cool. It was my lucky day. They sent Connor and he was so good. He was kind, professional, showed me the problem, talked price, no pressure, and was done so quickly. I would highly recommend their company. Actually, I must say, Connor was the best!!! Thanks folks!!!

A Carolina Cool service person was nice enough to knock on my door while working for my neighbor about 3 years ago to warn me there was an issue with my AC turning off and on quickly. I told him who had installed the system, and he said there was probably too much coolant over-pressurizing my system, and it might only need removing the excessive pressure to fix the problem I thanked him, but called the company that had installed the system 2 or 3 years previously. Big Mistake. After spending about $1800 for an un-needed repair-- it turned out Carolina Cool had been correct--I would have been much happier with them, and saved a bungle of money. If an honest service person ever gives me free information again-I will listen to them...

This should be the company you call for ANY air conditioning or HVAC issues/installs you'd have in the Grand Strand area. We had an issue that arose with a condo we own in Myrtle and was contacted by our homeowner representative that there was no air conditioning in the unit. The contracted company had sent an estimate to the representative that seemed crazy expensive, to tge tune of $750.00 JUST for the test. Any parts/repairs would be additional. Calling friends in the business only confirmed that it was way way way out of line for that. Upon looking in Yelp and seeing Carolina Cools reviews we figured lets reach out, no harm no foul. We spoke to Mike who was EXTREMELY quick to respond. He listened to us, explaining how they have a much much less expensive test the initially start with... if that is not sufficient they then go to the 2nd test (which is the only option we were given with the other company) and he stated that test would be $450-500.00 IF NEEDED, AND that we would not pay for the first test since it would not have found the leak. We immediately knew we weren't hiring them. They went out the same day (yesterday 6/2) and found a leak. Mike called us, explaining the leak and that it was found on the first test, the less expensive test ($167.00) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So far we would have saved a sizeable amount of money. We gave the green light and he said a technician Joe was going to handle the job. Mike then called us as work was being done reassuring us that Joe was very capable. All very important things to hear, and know when you aren't on site. Today Mike called us (6/3/20) to let us know the job was completed, however as Joe tested the system he encountered another leak... unfortunately this leak is in a place that would put Carolina Cool in a predicament with the other company as the leak is in a chase that has other condominium lines running through it. Mike then went on to do something that was AMAZING and told us since they didn't officially fix the leak that they weren't going to charge us. TOTALLY UNEXPECTED, totally APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!! THANKS THANKS THANKS!!!!

Carolina Cool is an amazing business. Our HVAC system was giving us trouble, ( it was the original with the home built in 1977) and we were having issues getting it to work. We called Carolina Cool on a Thursday and spoke with Carol and she scheduled technician Stacy to come out the next morning. He arrived on time and inspected the unit. It was full of dirt and mold.....he took photos to show us... and there was just a complete failure in the unit, being 44 years old. Also we noticed that pieces of black gunk had been coming out of the ceiling registers and Stacy showed us our duct work was literally falling apart. Jason, a salesman came out and confirmed what Stacy had told us and by the that afternoon gave us a bid for a new system. The price was great, we approved it and work began then following Monday. CJ and James arrived on time Monday morning and immediately began the tear out. When they brought the heat pump down from the attic we were amazed at the dirt and mold on it...really gross. No wonder my wife's allergies were going crazy since we moved in 6 months ago. CJ and James were professional, neat and clean with their work, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and addressed out concerns. The work was completed exactly when they said it would be and our new HVAC system is up and running great. We are EXTREMELY happy with Carolina Cool and they deserve a 100 star rating. Thanks guys!!

We called several air conditioning company's. All came out and gave estimates. Two of them were a waste of time. Carolina Cool was prompt and right on time. Told us they could change it out within 48 hours. Had the entire unit upstairs and down replaced in no time. They were extremely careful coming in and out of our home. We could not be there because our daughter in law was having there first baby. We came home to a team working on the unit and almost finished . They cleaned up and was very courteous. Could not be happier , thank you, Carolina Cool.

We had a slab leak, which we had never heard of, we thought it was due to a water heater failing and the flooding that ensued was awful. Our wood floors were ruined and had to be replaced. My husband called Carolina Cool due to reviews. They were fantastic. They came out within an hour, which we never expected. They found the leak (with digital equipment), they determined it was not our water heater, fixed the leak, and did it without destruction, even though they had to jack hammer our floor. No mess they didn't clean up before they left. They could have had us wait a day or two to finish because it was late in the day, but they stayed into the evening. They made sure everything was fixed before they left. The staff was courteous and thoughtful. We are so grateful. We recently had our HVAC system go through an annual review, and would only call them. We will never call anyone else in this area for our HVAC and plumbing, pretty much anything else they cover. I highly recommend them, their staff, and the courteous and efficient way they deal with their customers. Thank you Carolina Cool.

We noticed a """"funny smell"""", kind of like a burnt smell, in our hallway and called Carolina Cool, thinking it was related to our HVAC since we had just started using the heat unit this fall. We'd seen Carolina Cool vans in our neighborhood and on the streets nears us. The dispatcher was very professional and told us we would be contacted by a technician between 2 and 6:00 for our appointment that same day. Mr. Stacey called us from the front of our house around 3:15. He and my husband did a throughout check on the heating and even hot water systems to see if that's where the problem could be, but everything checked out. Not satisfied that we'd looked into every option, Mr. Stacey looked behind our dryer and noticed that the exhaust tube was very compressed, which could certainly lead to heat built up and even could have caused a fire! He pulled out the dryer and shortened the hose so it fit better. He even used our leaf blower to make sure the path was clear! We were so impressed that we signed up for an annual maintenance contract right away! We are in a new house, only 3 years old, so we'd neglected to make sure we had annual checks on our system, which really is a necessity and will likely save us from any unexpected costs and outages. In addition to the HVAC contract, Carolina Cool offers an on demand water heater maintenance contract, and they will even check and replace the flappers in your toilettes! I can see I am on my way to trouble free care of our major household systems. Thanks, Carolina Cool and Thank you Mr. Stacey.
