Recommended Customer Reviews
I can't recommend Carney All Seasons highly enough! We just replaced our entire HVAC system and our options were based on our needs. We installed a system that has far exceeded our expectations, and everyone was very helpful and professional. John and Dan, our Service Team, we're here on time, did an amazing job, and cleaned everything up perfectly afterwards. They could not have done a better job. Definitely 5 stars!!
Edit: the owner installed a backup heat for free for the first floor but not the second floor. And my system still can't keep up even at 25° outside. Not to mention my babys room has no backup heat.. and they rigged that unit up to turn on for a couple seconds and stay off for 4 minutes. We'll see how that goes in the summer.
Cons (from our personal experience):
-Left over a weekend without heat on first floor, while we have a 4 month old in the house. They gave us electric heaters and I was not compensated for the electricity it cost me.
-Signed proposal assuming 0% loan, was pressured and mislead into 10% loan. They literally have billboards with 0% for 72 months yet according to the salesman, less and less people are being approved for it.
-Lisa the office scheduler told me to apply multiple times for 0% loan then advised that I dont make enough to be approved, which turned out to not be true some weeks later when I received letter from wells fargo, which was too late at that point. She also put the job on hold at one point and gave no direction to work out financing, essentially crushing my hopes of getting this heating system.
-Tim the salesman (who is also in charge of financing) was helpful and responsive until the second the company received their money from the install, even though there was ongoing issues constantly, then he ignores you completely and does not advocate for you. He knew the full extent of all my issues yet continued to ignore me and not pass the info along.
-Cut a hole in my bathroom floor to install a vent, there was wood work in the way below so they couldnt install it and just slapped a piece of wood to cover the hole. Now have a hole with plywood in it in the middle of my tile bathroom floor.
-Nick the install supervisor will apologize his way out of anything when his company should actively be compensating someone for the money they cost someone (lost work, electricity, bathroom floor repair, etc.)
-If you have an unsteady schedule with 2 working parents with a baby and a dog that's not good with people, the company will constantly impose their schedule on you and inconvenience you.
-Signed proposal then they scheduled the install, did not apply for loan, only after me reaching out did they realize I didn't apply, so last minute I had to apply, and they were going to unknowingly install the system without even confirming financing
-2 day install ended up taking 4 plus 2 days of weekend without heat, so 6 days
-Not a fan at all of the Carrier products so far which they use. The design of the interfaces and manuals and applications of these seem horribly designed. See my example of the CliMate app that they abandoned 3 years ago yet continue to sell the dongle that needs that app to function.
-Did not close dampers on vents that needed to be closed. Did not seal some gaps where tubes and wires were installed, including one that went outside
-Last day of install the tech entered the basement without knocking or anything and began working
-New system is supposed to perform 100% down to -4° yet it was 15° and it was blowing out barely warm air and the room temp was 59°
Pros:
-Polite and knowledgeable salesman
-Good prices if you can actually be approved for the 0% 72 months (though the maintenance fees seem through the roof)
-Relatively clean install with minimal dirt and debri (i had some cleaning, spackling, painting, and gap filling to do)
-Scheduling usually available for same day or next day (during winter)
Upon reading other negative reviews the owner of this company seems more than comfortable to find an excuse for any problem that comes up. Also people being ripped off for maintenance on their units seems common. I dread the next few years with my new units and wish I read those reviews before getting it installed. I can 100% see now that the passive aggression and deflection come straight from the top of this company.
This is by far the most shady place we have done business with. My wife and I had Tim come over and quote and estimate our house promised us all the zoning would cool and be cool and all returns hooked up etx. They did none of that no returns hooked up but one came back and said they can't hook them up cut a huge hole in my floor added a POINTLESS return in middle of my hallway. They scammed us when converting our propane line for our fire place to gas cracked our trex deck said nothing and refused to do anything. Tech came out for yearly service and stated yes was cracked also confirmed that the installers poorly plan return in hallway was unnecessary and useless and stated he would take pics and notes to tell someone. Just terrible got scammed and took our money for a quick sale. Very ashamed of this company. Would never recommend
Just had a recent service call from ALL SEASONS COMFORT CONTROL and as usual they addressed my issue in a prompt and professional manner. Jim Schwager did the work and he really is both a professional and friendly individual who truly cares about the customer.
We have always had a great service with ALL SEASONS!
Hal S.I called All Seasons to get a quote for conversion from Fuel Oil (heating) and propane (Hot water) to Natural Gas. They came to look what I had over, and provided a quote. I was told ""We never just replace the burner in your heating boiler, we will only replace your whole system"" (which doubles the cost) The quote came in promptly, and it was, as promised, 4 options for total system replacement--significantly over budget.
I'm going with someone else, who came in and his first question was, ""How is your system working for you now?"" And who offered options designed to actually not only convert, but to make for a better operating system in the future.
Also, starting a couple weeks after the quote came in, I started getting emails and text messages from them, telling me my AC system was due for inspection and annual maintenance--and I don't have central AC. What's up with that?
Chris M.18 months ago they put in a full new system total cost of over $11,000. Now I am selling my house and the buyers inspector found the wrong gauge electrical wire was run to the AC unit, it could be a fire hazard and needs to be corrected. Today they came to my house to check the work and agreed it is the wrong gauge wiring that was use and left saying they would come back tomorrow and replace it. Then 2 hours later they called me and said they reviewed the paperwork and said since they reused the wire from the previous unit even though they should not have there will be a close to $500 charge to run the correct wire. So just know that is there version of standing behind there work.
I never received a call from the owner. And you are saying it is ok to install a new $3000 AC unit to whatever line happens to be there without checking. Assuming the wire in a 50 year old home was just fine to use. REALLY...
We called to have our heater serviced. We recieved a call back immediately and the company was able to come out Monday morning. I was very happy to have so a fast appt. We signed up for the gold membership to have it serviced yearly. The gentleman cleaned out our system everything was great. The next day we had no heat. They promptly sent someone out to fix it. My friend came to my house to sit because i had to be at work. I told the gentleman i needed to return to work and my friend was going to be here. He was allowed to fix anything that needed to be repaired and my friend had my credit card for payment. The gentleman told me there won't be a charge today. My friend called me after the gentleman left and said they needed to come back out and check the lines and he had to put a bowl under the vavle to catch water until my next appt. He said someome from the office would contact us to set up the next appt. Almost a month later wr heard nothing. My husband called and they said we denied them access to the upstairs and denied to have the work done. None of this was true. They said we can get a qoute for you today to fix it and call you back. They didnt call back. Very disappointing
Update. I had another company out today. My expansion tank that I was told was upstairs where the gentleman claimed he was denied access was actually downstairs in the heating unit. He knew this the chambers that he cleaned were in the same area. He had no interest in repairing my unit. I don't recommend this company
Please be advised to avoid doing ANY business with this business. If you value expert troubleshooting, quality workmanship, professional manner, proper pricing, a job done right the first time, customer satisfaction, and ethical principles, than this pile of frustration is very much not for you.
Our central air conditioner failed. Called All Season's. They arrived quickly same day. Steve diagnosed and made the repairs. Good work! Glad we have their Platinum maintenance agreement.
Erin M.All Seasons just installed a new air conditioning unit for me and did a great job. Sales was great to deal with, took their time in explaining my options with different systems and available for all additional questions I had post consult. And the installers did great work too, very efficient and respectful of my home. Most importantly, good pricing!
