This is how I was overcharged by carmel valley plumbing. I had a leak in my shower knob, so I called up several plumbers on yelp with good rating. all other plumbers couldn't do same day appointment except for carmel valley plumbing. guess that should have been the canary in the coal
mine. anyway I really appreciated they were able to come on the same day. they guy assessed the situation and told us he was not sure what the problem was, but it could be very serious. He might have to knock down the wall and it's gonna cost a fortune. BUT he also said if he could fix it without knocking down the wall it'd cost much less ,$385. So after listening to him anyone would believe that $385 didn't seem like a lot. So he got to work and within less than 20 min the job was done! WHAT? apparently the only thing he had to change is the pressure balance spool. oh boy I am sure he knew the minute he saw it. So a 20-min job with a $20 part cost me $385. I guess zero knowledge in plumbing does come with a price. Lessons learned, trust lost and never will I deal with this company again.

The faucet in the bathroom needed tightening - a very small job. I came across reviews for Carmel Valley Plumbing on Yelp and Next Door. Jeff was very responsive and came right over today after finishing another job nearby. I'm very appreciative that he took care of this small job so quickly. He's a nice guy who knows his stuff and I'm happy to write this review.

Quick reply and service, even on a weekend. The plumber was honest and affordable, telling me when he didn't think a certain repair was worth the cost. Flexible enough to fit my schedule. His work was quick and accurate. Would definitely use them again!

Disappointed, the other positive reviews don't seem to accurately depict this service based on our experience. We had CV Plumbing fix our upstairs bathroom piping that had been giving us problems and reseal another bathroom's toilet. First, the prices seemed overpriced compared to others we have used at a former house. Second, the work was average at best. The area worked on was left dirty and it did not appear that the sealant and materials/items used were of any decent quality (a few wks later we have had issues with the toilet seal leaking and due to the water damage it stained our stone flooring). Third, the plumber was quite unprofessional and spoke about numerous inappropriate topics (foul language, politics, and other inappropriate topics I don't wish to state here again). It left me feeling very uneasy. I would definitely not use them again and do not recommend them to others.

Jeff is very experienced and professional. Used him second time around to fix an annoying shower leak that was causing havoc behind the walls. He was great at troubleshooting and went down the list of all possible problems and didn't even have to drill any holes in the wall to find and fix the problem. Jeff is very knowledgeable, considerate, and his rates are transparent as he bills by the job, not by the hour. Highly recommended!

Best plumber in Carmel Valley! Calls to confirm his appointments & he is very professional & arrives on time. Jeff explains what's going on with the plumbing & is ready to fix it in the same appointment. He stays on time & cleans up any mess before he leaves. Hard to find hardworking, honest, knowledgeable & friendly people that truly want to help correct your problem for a fair price for the excellent work done! My review is based on respone time and in this case yes response at all. my wife called and left a message about 3 weeks ago and we haven't gotten a call back as of this review. We called to have 3 toilets, a sink garbage disposal and a garden faucet replaced. Does anyone know any plumber that can respond appropriately? I do not wish any negative repercussions as a result of this review for Carmel Valley Plumbing...I just wanted to post my experience.
