DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS

I was referred to them by I another company I had used and hired them to change out an older 2 handle shower system to a center mix valve system during a remodel.

Firstly, they are not cheap. $425 with me supplying the valve and it took them all of 45 minutes. Unbelievably though, Jason installed the center mix valve at least 4 inches off center of the drain in the shower pan. I made the mistake of trusting them and handing over the check, only to realize once they'd left how off they had set it up.

When I called them back, the owner Ed said ""Jason normally lines these up well. He'll just have to come back out and make it right"". So they called me back, put me on the schedule and showed up a few days later, only to demand ANOTHER $230 once they were standing in the bathroom to fix their own mistake. They claimed that because I hadn't specified I wanted a CENTER mix valve actually installed on center, it was my fault. Any plumber with 2 brain cells knows the first thing you do is line up these valves with the drain... They just put it back in the same spot the old one was (off center) which was the entire reason I hired them and paid to have a plumber come out and fix it in the first place.

Ed told me straight up that it was my own fault for not supervising his ""expert"" plumber Jason more closely, so I guess if you want to pay pro prices to have to babysit an amateur, these are your guys.

If that wasn't enough to steer you away, Jason the plumber told me a story as he was packing up that started with ""I'm not a racist"" about a Mexican helper he had working for him previously. You won't believe this, but it turns out that story was extremely racist and Jason might just be a racist after all.

Total Fraud. Supposed to have installed brand new garbage disposal. Instead, surreptitiously installed a 2 yearold garbage disposal in 30 minutes and then charged $800 for ""parts and labor."" He claimed this ""top of the line brand new disposal cost us $500,"" but refused to provide the box, the manual, or the receipt. After he left, I checked the serial number to find out it was a 2 year old model, going for $95 on Amazon. It also stunk like pesticide (stinking up the whole house). Maybe the dad is an honest plumber, but dad's allegedly ""out of commission with a shoulder injury."" After taking my check, he claimed to be on his way to the next job, but cashed the check 20 minutes after leaving- likely because he knew I'd cancel it once I realized the grift.

I guess some great companies choose to fly under the radar. I only found them as a referral by a family member that loved their work and I am very happy as well.I will definitely call them again.Ed and Jay were very polite and competent and it was a very nice experience. I would highly recommend them.

Ed is an experienced plumber. He installed a clean-out access point for our sewer line. The job was finished quickly and professionally. We will be using him again.
