Barry is a true professional! I had a leak on the main water line and had a mess on my front lawn. Barry gave me a fair quote after looking at the issue. He didn't charge me $59 dollars just to tell me I had a leak (yes, ""Reliable Plumbing"" did just that!). Barry repaired the busted copper pipe and replaced the shut off valve - he gave me a fair price (not six times more as the other guys quoted me - and they were only quoting me for a patch job- horrible!!). Barry arrived on time, got to work, and cleaned up the mess. I will only call Barry for any future needs. Thank you Barry - I am grateful that Hollister has an honest plumber who doesn't take advantage of individuals in his community!

I was so impressed I signed up for this account, just to write this review (but, if I'm being honest, it's also so I can be prepared to slam someone when they deserve it ...). But, because of this, I recognize that good work should be rewarded. So, to be brief, we had water softener problem and Barry Carlson (owner) handled the purchase and installation promptly and professionally. I believe him to be fair and honest and I will not hesitate to use him again. I highly recommend him if you live anywhere in the South County/Hollister area.

My experience with Carlson plumbing was not good. I had an active leak (not big, but active) from a water pipe right next to my water heater. My call to Carlson went to voicemail, but he called back a few minutes later. This was late in the afternoon Friday, but he agreed to come out Saturday between 10am and noon. On Saturday, noon came and went with no plumber. 3 phone calls (to voicemail) and a text message did not result in a single call from Carlson. It's like the company fell off the face of the earth. I had to start over with a new plumber and didn't get the leak fixed till Monday. Any future plumbing needs that I have will not go to Carlsen plumbing.

I have had to call out Carlson's Plumbing twice in the last year for clogged sewer and toilet drains,once on a holiday. They were quick to arrive and very quick to competently solve the problem, both times at a VERY affordable cost. These guys are great and true professionals and I wouldn't hesitate to use Carlson Plumbing again for my plumbing issues. I am disabled/handicapped and having my plumbing problem fixed in a timely manner is very important for me. Carlson is the one to use in Hollister!

I had a line going from under my sink to my fridge burst! Flooded the kitchen!! After turning off the water to the older system. I called Carlson plumbing and made an appt. Barry Carlson came out and recommend that I replace my R.O. Unit as well. I made a trip to lowes in Gilroy and returned to the house with a new faucet and R.O. System. Barry and Tony (no relation) showed up on time . Thumbs up!!!! My new equipment was installed for a nominal previously agreed upon $$! (The cost was very reasonable)!

Great service and fast! Walked into my garage to find my water heater had leaked all over. Called and left a message at 7:26am. Barry Carlson called back at 7:29 and was at my house by 8:30. Water heater was replaced in about an hour. Fast, friendly service.
