Carl's has been doing standard maintenance for me for several years. They have always been professional and honest.

BUYER BEWARE! I called this company because my Bryant air conditioner was still under manufacturer ""warranty"". For starters, the person they have answering the phone and scheduling appointments is not the friendliest and flatly made an appointment for a technician to come out and look at my air conditioner. The technician arrived on time to my house. The technician was also not the friendliest, and after checking my air conditioner, he flatly told me that I had zero Freon in my unit and he needed to do a search and patch and add Freon. $200 for the search and $1,400 for the patch and Freon. (I would later find out that the $1,400 Carl's was charging me was for $155 per pound of Freon for my 9 pound unit). He said nothing was covered under warranty. I told the technician I was calling another company. I ended up using M&K Heating and Cooling, who came out and discovered a main coil in my attic had failed. This WAS covered under warranty. I was charged only for the labor to replace the coil and for the Freon to refill the unit - total cost $1,060. Companies can charge what they want for their product and work but when they have crappy customer service and charge ridiculous prices for their work, people need to know what they're getting into. I will NEVER call Carl's again.

My downstairs heater unit stopped heating on a Saturday evening two days before New Years Eve and the overnight temperatures were to get down to freezing. Sunday morning I put in a call to Carl's and the answering service forwarded my call to the service tech on call (Billie Tomer), who got back to me in five minutes. I explained the condition and he told me he'd be out in about 45 minutes, he actually arrived in 15 minutes. He surveyed the situation and said he'd have to try eliminating possible causes of the problem. The first possibility was the Ignition control box. The replacement of this control box cured the problem and our unit was once again working. My thanks to Carl's and technician Billie for their fast professional reasonably priced service.

This is a company I will never hire or recommend. My central heating unit stopped working Nov. 21. I called Carl's business based on recommendation I received from a trusted friend. The tech who came to my home got to the attic to access the heating unit. He spend the next 4.5 hours up there with zero results, occasionally came down to check the thermostat, got the unit turned on and running for 10 min. before it shup down again. For all this they billed my credit card $577.00 with the promise it will be deducted from the cost of the new unit! REALLY??? This scenario happens three times. It was clear to me he was clueless what the problem was. So he got it running another 10 min. just before he left. He comment before leaving "" if it shut down again just flip the switch on the fuse box"" Now that was professional advise!!!! He hadn't even left thru the front gate when it shut off again. I've gone out of town for Thanks giving. When I came back I called the office again.This time another tech came. Same thing, could not fix it. It was clear it is all about a new Unit. First tech Gabriel even put it in writing as the second tech did too.To make matters worse Gabriel did damage by standing on the shelfs of the build in at my closet when he access the attic. So I have been without heat starting Nov,21 until today Nov.24. Today I checked yelp, found Sun Country Heating. A business with integrity. They send Stephen and Cameron who took exactly 10 min. to get my unit working by doing minor adjustment. Total cost $ 90.00. So happy...love yelp who came thru for me again.

It's Sunday morning and concerned about AC for years. Unit over 17 years. They were here within the hour assured me completely all was fixed. My 80 year old neighbors last week had AC go out on the weekend and they showed up first thing in AM it was the capacitor for $200. Honesty, professional, and best price.

I've had these guys out twice. 1st time to look over my a/c unit. Informed it is 23 years old but is working good, just needs refrigerant. Today I had the refrigerant added and expected to pay out the nose (it's $100lb) but only paid $280! Guess I'm just lucky but they really could have taken me for more if they were shady. Also the techs are informative and professional.

I've used Carl's AC a few times for basic maintenance every couple of years. They have always been friendly and easy to work with. A very friendly technician recently visited my residence for basic maintenance and the next day I noticed the air wasn't as cool. The employee that answered the phone called the service manager and was able to get the tech back the next morning which was great; the issue was fixed. The true test of a business is the turn-around time to fix an issue and Carl's passed with flying colors. No need to look for another AC repair company and I will always use Carl's.

We did business with a couple of AC repair/instillation companies here in Las Vegas including the one that has a name that ""is hard to spell"" and likes to advertise on the radio,telling heartwarming stories. When it became clear that we were wasting our time and money by trying to repair our old A/C unit, we contacted Carl's and have been very happy with the company. Not only did they give great service with the instillation and maintenance of the AC unit but we recently contacted them for some custom duct work for our clothes dryer and they solved the problem quickly,professionally and at a reasonable cost. We've been nothing but impressed with Carl's and all of their employees. Having a failing AC in Las Vegas and having to purchase a new one is never pleasant but Carl's made it as painless as possible.

I initially did an internet search for an HVAC sheet metal fabricator in Las Vegas and found Carl's Air Conditioning & Sheet Metal. They were able to fabricate what I needed in only one day. Subsequently, I needed a heat pump inspection done for another project and of course contacted Carl's as I was already impressed with their prompt and courteous service. They were able to immediately schedule a service appointment and correctly diagnose the problems I was having with the unit. The heat pump was an older unit (over 15 years old) and although it was still functional, the technician advised me that I might consider a newer and more efficient unit at some point in the future as the unit I had was an ""off brand"" that is typically manufactured to a lower standard than ""brand name"" units even though they are manufactured by the same company. In other words, they are ""economy units"" designed mostly for rental properties. The technician also noted that most of the insulation inside the roofing transition that connects the unit to the ductwork had come loose and was blocking about 80% of the airflow which accounted for most of the issues I was having. After further investigation, he also discovered that most of the existing ductwork had holes in it or was coming loose from the distribution plenum. I guess that came as no surprise as the property is over 40 years old and I'm sure the existing ductwork was at least 20 years old. So at best, my heat pump was mostly conditioning the air in the attic. At this stage it was obviously time to make some decisions on how to proceed. After considering the age of the heat pump and the condition of the ductwork, and discussing options with the technician, I decided to replace the heat pump with a brand new more efficient heat pump as well as replacing all the existing ductwork with a far superior engineered solution than was currently in place. Let me tell you that although that certainly wasn't what I expected when I had the system inspected for what seemed to be a minor problem, I'm ecstatic with the way the new system performs. I expect my energy bills to improve dramatically and with summer fast approaching, all of this will be a welcome relief and one of the best decisions I've ever made. I feel that all of the employee's I consulted with at Carl's were very fair and honest with me every step of the way. They even include a 10 year parts AND labor warranty. Nobody That I'm aware of does that! Now that's peace of mind and that's worth a lot! Carl's is a family owned business in Las Vegas for over 50 years. You just don't stay in business anywhere for that long if you don't treat your customers with honesty, integrity, and respect. Every one of their employees that I talked to had been working there for many years. Some of them have worked there for literally decades. That tells you a lot about the company you're doing business with. If you want honesty, integrity, and prompt courteous service, then call Carl's AC next time you're looking for a new HVAC unit or just service. I definitely give them 5 stars. My only choice from now on for sales and service! Thank you Carl's!

These guys are as good as it gets in the HVAC world. They completed our yearly wellness check, answered our concerns/questions without hesitation. No issues were found and we fell that the annual checkup is well worth the $$.
