We just had a clog cleaned out by a very local plumber (Shop local! Support family owned small businesses!), Brandon from Carl the Plumber. (Carl was his grandfather who started the biz 40 years ago) He's a nice guy and quick to arrive and get the work done.

Brandon is great. I have called on him 4/5 times after purchasing a recently remolded older home in RPV. Some of the plumbing work was bogus and I think the previous owner ""hid"" some issues with Kilz and paint.. Totally frustrating.. Brandon was appalled, it's apparent he takes pride in his work and reputation. Also, I like to ask questions, Brandon happily explains stuff. I really appreciate that. Highly recommended!!

I called Carl today for an estimate and appointment. I left a message.
Brandon called back promptly and gave me a couple of different estimates. He was able to make it out on the same day. He arrived on time, and was able to take care of the problem at the lower estimated cost. He was clean, well informed and left the bathroom area clean.

Additionally, before he left, he took the time to look into another matter within the house.

Brandon was great! I called and was able to get service the next business day! He was on time, friendly, and professional. Brandon is hands down the best plumber in this area. I can't tell you how many times he has saved us here at our home on short notice and always with exceptional service. Even if he can't take your call right away, he usually gets back to you the same day and will even come out nights or weekends for emergencies. Brandon (business name is Carl the Plumber) has done work for us in two houses now and a half dozen varied jobs, and he's fantastic. I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to recommend Brandon. He's responsive, punctual, and really knowledgable, and he does great work. On the business end, he's efficient with his time, honest, and really fair on pricing. Examples -- in our old place, he plumbed a new shower for us and installed a new drain, and made a few suggestions for cheap, easy changes that really improved the quality (and durability) of the materials. In our current place, we had the ultimate nightmare - a slow pipe leak inside a wall - and he was able to pinpoint the leak quickly with very little disruption to the walls and fix the problem at a very low cost. He also did a bunch of standard stuff -- installed a water heater, toilets, and sink fixtures, and snaked tree roots out of our main -- all at very reasonable rates. He cleaned up well each time when he was finished, wrote very detailed itemized bills, and explained everything he did. Professional, honest, excellent work, and reasonable, he's my first call no question.

After having another plumber give us an estimate, my neighbors told me about Carl The Plumber. Carl The Plumber charges much less than the other plumber and does an amazing job. He has now done 2 jobs for us. He came over the first time and fixed our leaky toilet and the most recent time, he put in a whole new toilet for us in the master bathroom. He told me exactly what toilet to buy ( so i could save some $$) and he even took away the old one. He is honest, timely and does great work. Brandon told me that ""Carl"" is his grandpa and he the third generation to work at ""Carl The Plumber."" Family businesses ROCK!
