Elkan is the best. He had a helper named Chris who was great too. My elderly Mother was without air conditioning the past few months after having a new system installed by John Stevenson Heating and cooling a year ago. After charging over $800 to evaluate and do nothing (I complained and they knocked it down to $700. Carini only charged $89) they said if they did it it would cost 7-8 thousand dollars and we needed to call an electrician. The electricians I spoke to said we needed to go back to them. Carini came in and saved the day and it ended up being under $1400. Working great!! Thanks Elkan and Chris! Also, thank you to Arianna and Kristin at Carini who were working so hard to get us taken care of. Great people! Highly recommend.

Update: I reached out to Carini to share my experience after seeing the owner respond to my review. I had a very nice conversation with their team (Erin handled all the discussions). Erin was thoughtful and very respectful in our exchange, and most importantly, she was decisive and her follow up was prompt. I'm glad the business wanted to hear more about my experience and they were great about finding a resolution. Thanks to Erin and the owner for following up, very professional!

2 weeks ago we used a company called Comfort Bros who flushed our water heater tank for maintenance purposes. After that, my wife I noticed the pipes in our walls were humming every time we turned on the water from our faucets, showers, or outdoor hoses. We called Comfort Bros back and told them the problem. We had to wait a few days for the same plumber to come out and diagnose the problem. When he came over, he listened to our walls and he said he didn't know what was the exact problem or how to fix it. He tried one thing, but it didn't resolve it. He told me I may need to buy a water filtration system and that might fix it because it could be mineral deposits in the pipe. He showed me the cost of a water filtration system from Comfort Bros. It was over $8,000. I said the noise never occurred before he did his work a couple of weeks ago. He said it could just be coincidence. My wife and I stayed paranoid about what was going on with our pipes and how much damage it was causing long term. Then we called Carini who was able to send someone out the same day I called. Adan came out and he listened to our story. He then listened to our pipes humming. He checked our water pressure, checked our water line, our water heater tank, then he was able to resolve the problem. He kept going and trying to troubleshoot the problem even though at first he didn't know what was causing the noise. He fixed it with ease. I asked him how long he had been working in plumbing and he said 12 years. He explained to me why the noises may have been happening after the tank flush by the other company. Adan was knowledgeable and I appreciated his motivation to resolve the problem. Carini has a great plumber on their hands. Thank you, Adan.

Paul, the service tech was as nice as could be. I explained my dad's hard of hearing and he took the time to make sure he spoke clearly slow and loud. He was extremely honest. He was here to replace the garbage disposal and replace the kitchen faucet. Paul said the disposal didn't need to be replaced. Something was stuck and he left me an alan wrench. He thanked my dad for his service. When the disposal does need to be replaced I will be calling Carini and I'll ask for Paul

I contacted them yesterday to get my drain unclogged. Inquired through yelp messaging. I thought I was speaking with the owner but later found out that it was the receptionist, which is not a plumber. I went them because I saw some good reviews, and I wish I could do the same and leave a good review.
When the plumber came, named Adam or Aeden, he told me a totally different price and it was kind of higher side compared to the other quotes that I received. It's 55 dollars for them to come to the house which I was ok with but when the pricing is different from what I was told, I was questioning what all needs to be done. Main sewer clearing I was quoted 550, and as I said, I waited on them so I was kind of committed now that they days getting later. Let's go and do it with that price, let's get it over with. Called the service manager Sean and told him let's do it. To find out the snake drum that is needed is not fixed, and has been broken for quite some time.
Waste of time smh. Adam or Arden felt so bad wasting my time that he waived the 55 bucks which I would of never agreed to pay but it was a nice gesture. So unfortunately my experience with this company was a negative one. I was able to lock in with another local plumbing company and they did a terrific job and significantly cheaper which I was amazed.

The plumber did not understand direction to get to the property and raised his voice on me in his frustration. It was shocking to me that the same direction was given to several contractors and others before and none had any issue to locate the property which is not outside of the city limit. He also complained the minute he got on the phone with me about where to park his vehicle so that he could bring his tools. He complained about walking cross the street from where he mostly likely found parking belongs to a city library.

My first choice was the highest rated in the area. He was very thorough and accurate in his responses but was unable for two weeks.

That's where Carini Home Services stepped in. They were very upfront and transparent in their diagnostic fees. We set up a same day appointment and the home electrical issue was resolved within a few hours.
