Lacked honesty and ethics, in my experience with Carey Plumbing. I had a broken pipe and called Carey Plumbing for a bid. Their bid was significantly higher than the other bid I had, but they were able to do the repair immediately, so I bit the bullet and hired them. The company sent Bryce to do my repair. He never instilled a lot of confidence, but the stunt he pulled toward the end of the job shocked me. As he's finishing the pipe repair, he looks at the hole in the ground and asks me who's going to fill in the hole. I thought he was joking and kind of chuckled before realizing he was serious. Bryce had the nerve to demand an additional $100 from me to fill in the hole in my yard. I was dumbfounded. He proceeded to claim that filling in the hole isn't assumed and should be part of the estimate. He went on to further complain that his helper who fills in holes for him wasn't available and he was going to have to do it himself. "I don't fill in holes," he tells me. At my insistence, he relented and filled in the hole, but wasn't happy about it. I'm disappointed that Carey Plumbing employs people like this. Does Mike Carey condone this sort of fleecing of his customers?

Called Carey's Plumbing to have a new faucet put in. Also to have a sprinkler cap put on my system. Frank the technician was efficient, professional and knowable. Took care of the problem and was helpful.

It started off bumpy as they were almost 2 hours late but Frank turned the experience into a great one when he arrived. He was friendly, professional and fast. He fixed the issue with my toilet at a very reasonable price.

Very professional. Mike's quote showed exactly what was included. The receptionist was very thorough and followed through. The two men that came out were both professional and made sure the new gas water heater was installed and working properly before they left. I will use them again!

when I called he wouldn't give me a time he could but he came within the hour. He told me "Ill give you a fair price". he replaced a flange in the toilet and, of course, the wax ring. Which we had. Then he replaced A cartridge in the shower stem In the handle to turn on and off the shower. And I don't feel the price was "fair". He charged $475.00.
this is after he used my cell phone and internet for his personal business because he told us his cell phone had been "cut off" for Non payment of a $3000 phone bill. We figured he was trying to make his phone bill off a small job. We had a flange replaced in oct of 2020 and it was $275 by Joe the Plumber. I realize things have gone up but this was excessive. I needed 2 drain pans installed. tech showed up and began the work, then this is when shit went south. Tech calls me and asks how to turn the water back on. We have a well and explained that the power to well need to be on, he explains he cant do that because it will ruin the heating elements. Why did he call the homeowner and not his supervisor. I get a call from THE PLUMBER who can't get water back on to fill the water heaters, This does not instill confidence in my choice for a plumber. I live 40 minutes away and tell his boss I am going back to see what the hell is going on. The supervisor says nothing to me that his guys are on top of this and I do not need to go check on what is being done and not done. Poor communication skills on the tech and the supervisor. After wasting 80 minutes of my time for something that should have been easy to resolve. They hit me with a bill for full price, NOT EVEN I AM SORRY for wasting 80 minutes of your life and scaring the shit out of you that the PLUMBERS actually knew what they were doing. II will never use them again!!
