We had a 28 year old water heater so need a replacement. We looked for quotes and it was the cheapest, we were quote at other place $900 for just labor and installation including part. Cardinal quoted us $90 per hr. A guy came and he was very efficient. While draining the old water heater, he went to pick up the new one (which they told us exactly which one to buy and where to buy it). He worked worked worked and within two hours he finished installing it with additional upgraded parts.

We did have a water leakage a few months later but they responded quickly and sent someone to fix it without charge.

I had an appt. scheduled on Tuesday because my hot water heater needed replaced. They called Tuesday morning to reschedible because their plumber called in sick. Scheduled for Thurs between 2-4. Now I've gone without hot water since Monday. Come Thursday 4 o'clock no plumbe. Tried calling no answer left a message. At this time I've been with no water at all because the leak was so bad. Friday morning they finally call wanting to come fix it. Awful customer service to cancel and no show without even a call.

Kyle was early and pretty responsive. I also texted him when he needed to go buy material to fix the tub faucets. Kyle is also friendly.

I called 2 other plumbing companies who did not return multiple calls in a timely manner so I thought I would give Cardinal Plumbing a call. Spoke with Cathy who couldn't have been nicer and had a technician out to my place within 45 minutes of my phone call. It wasn't a big job, just a connection issue but Jason took care of it in less than 2 minutes! Cardinal Plumbing goes to the top of my list for future plumbing needs. Thank you Cathy and Jason!

I've never had a worse experience with a contractor in town than I have with Cardinal Plumbing. I called them out to address two issues I was having, the first being a dripping noise present after using the hot water in one of my bathrooms. The second was that the faucet in my guest bath did not have a full turn radius and I could not get hot water. After an hour the technician couldn't find the source of the leak so I opted to eat the hour's labor instead of having them go on an exploratory mission which they said would likely end in a ton of holes in my walls and couldn't guarantee they would be able to find the leak. Fair enough, I appreciated their candor. The technician would then spend another hour replacing a part in a shower they were A) not asked to fix and B) was not broken to the tune of an additional 90 dollars for labor and another 91 dollars for the part. They claimed the part was missing a spring and needed to be replaced, I assumed they were referring to the shower that wouldn't get hot water unaware that they were working on the wrong shower. Secondly, I found the ""missing"" spring behind my toilet two weeks later while cleaning. I don't know if they just missed it when the spring was lost, or they lied because they couldn't find it but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Then immediately after the technician left I realized the error as the shower they were asked to fix remained unfixed, and the other shower was now malfunctioning in the same manner as the shower they were asked to fix. The technician returned immediately, I cleared up the confusion, and the actual fix to the shower took less than fifteen minutes and they had to do it to both showers after the mistake. I know it was less than fifteen minutes because I had to call the technician back again because he left the faucet plate in the shower that he wasn't supposed to touch in the first place unscrewed and hanging and the timestamps for the phone calls are 11:31 and 11:46, respectively. When I asked the receptionist if I was going to be expected to pay for a part I didn't need and explained what happened she assured me someone would call me. A week passes with no phone call, I see the charge for the full amount to my credit card and called her again. The technician was claiming that he was directed to the shower in question and that the part was broken which as stated was not the case because the ""missing"" spring was found the following week when I was cleaning on the floor behind my toilet. I re-explained the situation and told the receptionist I was willing to pay for the labor because they did send the technician back immediately (twice) and he was very professional each time and eventually got it all fixed, however, I was not willing to pay for the part for a shower that he shouldn't have touched and that was not broken. I was assured that I would get a phone call from the management by close of business that day. Again, no phone call. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and the merchant refuses to respond to them either. I'm beyond frustrated and would have been willing to work something out with the company if they would have even paid me the respect and courtesy of listening to my complaint and following up with a phone call as promised.

We called one other place before this one. The main water line outside our house had broke. The receptionist was very nice and was able to fit us in today instead of a week from now. Jose came out this morning at the scheduled time. He was very professional, courtesy with a good personality. He introduced himself and got straight to work. He was very communicative and showed everything that he was doing. Total work time 1 hour and the cost was very reasonable.

Jose H. was great. Both of my bathrooms were backed up. We could not find the clean out so jose got up on the roof in the blazing heat to snake my lines over 100 feet. He was super friendly the whole time and gave me lots of advice on what i could do to prevent my backup from happening again. Definitely recommend him. Cardinals overall was great. they got me in next day and were prompt and professional.

Just moved to town and needed a couple gas appliance valves installed. Chose Cardinal because they had good reviews. The woman on the phone was very polite and we set up an appointment. The technician showed up on time and I gave him the valve I needed installed. He didn't turn my gas off and made my whole kitchen/living room area smell so strongly of gas. I asked him if he could make sure there were no leaks by spraying the valve with some soapy water since it would have been impossible to smell a leak. He went to his truck and came back with an empty spray bottle. ""Could I have some soap and water?"" I guess he doesn't check for leaks after he does an install? I ended up just saying ""no"" to the second install because I was pretty annoyed at this point and my house stunk. After he left, I went outside and the packaging from the valve was on the ground in my front yard! This place has good reviews but I did not have a good experience.

I had an automatic earthquake shut off installed on my gas line, a leaking toilet fixed and the hot water heater drained and flushed out all finished in a very short time by Danny. He could smile more but who cares he does a good job. I've used Cardinal plumbing for awhile. At first some mixed reviews but they always came back to make everything right. Danny our up a new high tank toilet not your everyday job and took off and put back on the old one after new flooring was installed.

Called to make an appointment and it was for 12-2. I asked if they could call when on the way. The appointment passes by so I called (no notification from the company) to see what was going on and they said the people are stuck on another job, so I ask if I need to be rescheduled. They say we don't know and after some back and forth, they say reschedule. Then they say it's not for another multiple days out rather than immediately the next day, even though my appointment was directly after whatever problem they had. The person scheduling was not friendly or accommodating. I'm frustrated there was zero communication on when they would show up, then the unfriendliness over rescheduling even though it was the company who had the issues.
